OiSakura stated that Brazilians also worked a lot and sacrificed time with their families, as she said happened in Japan, but they couldn't progress in Brazil. She contrasted this situation with that of a woman who, as she wrote, had an iPhone, a stocked pantry, a good car, and security, and criticized the situation of those living in Brazil under the PT. #Trabalho #Brasil #Japonês (translated)

The Daily Bureaucrat listed statements where various individuals and organizations had, in his opinion, doubted the success of new inventions. He mentioned that the Michigan Savings Bank estimated in 1903 that the horse would persist and the car would be merely a fashion phenomenon for the wealthy. According to Thomas Watson, in 1943 there might have been a market for computers globally for perhaps five devices, and he said that Ken Olson stated in 1977 that nobody would need a computer in their home. He said that Steve Ballmer expressed doubt in 2007 that the iPhone would gain significant market share. Paul Krugman noted that the economic impact of the internet in 1998 would have hardly been greater than that of fax machines. He reported that Bill Gates predicted in 2004 that email spam would be resolved within two years, and that Marty Cooper assessed in 1981 that mobile phones would not completely replace landlines. The list also included Lord Kelvin’s claim in 1895 about the impossibility of heavier-than-air airplanes, Darryl F. Zanuck’s 1946 assessment of the short-lived nature of television, and Erasmus Wilson's prediction in 1878 about electric lights going out after the Paris World’s Fair. William Preece, according to The Daily Bureaucrat, said in 1876 that the telephone was not needed because there were enough messengers. He recounted that Lee De Forest deemed moon travel impossible in 1957 and that Dionysius Lardner predicted in 1830 that fast travel would lead to passengers choking. He said Thomas Edison rejected the use of alternating current in 1889. Finally, The Daily Bureaucrat asked what was now being said about the new Tesla Roadster. #teknologia #innovaatiot #historia (translated)

The entry attributed to Donald Tusk the words that Ukraine's collapse would mean a problem for everyone, and to Ursula von der Leyen — the announcement of the 22nd package of sanctions against Russia and an assessment that Ukraine is lacking 70 billion euros. The economist criticized Swedish media for allegedly giving little attention to Tesla's Roadster, despite him describing it as a flying car. He compared the coverage to the significant space the media gave to new iPhone models with more megapixels and argued that Elon Musk's controversial stance seemed to weigh heavier than tech reporting. As an example of Aftonbladet's priorities, he mentioned headlines about Ingrosso's feelings, a 200-meter-long queue at a candy store, and celebrities picking mushrooms. He believed that potentially groundbreaking technology instead ended up far down the page or was met with criticism about the price. #journalistik #medier #Tesla (translated)

Drax mentioned that the new version of the PAOCalendar now included the away games of Panathinaikos. According to him, users could choose which sections to follow and filter the schedule to show all games, only home games, or only away games. He added that the calendar covered the football club, the basketball club, and the sections of the amateur sports, while the away games were marked with a green circle and an airplane symbol. Those who had already added the calendar to Google or iPhone, he said, did not need to do anything, as new entries would appear automatically. https://t.co/AOjndzhjlO #paofc #paobc #paocalendar (translated)
