Door de combinatie met de mestcellen in mijn lichaam ontstond er vochtophoping in mijn buik. Ziekenhuisopnames Ik werd opgenomen in het Amphia Ziekenhuis, waar een drain werd geplaatst om het vocht af te tappen. In totaal werd er 26 liter vocht verwijderd. Na een verhoging van de medicatie kreeg ik opnieuw last van vochtophoping, waarna nog eens 18 liter werd afgetapt. Een derde opname volgde na een dosisaanpassing, waarbij 12 liter vocht werd verwijderd. Na deze opnames is besloten om plasmedicatie te geven om het vocht beter onder controle te houden. Nieuwe complicaties Half augustus kreeg ik pijnstilling voor mijn rug voorgeschreven. Hier reageerde ik heftig op: ik had vier dagen last van overgeven en diarree, waardoor ik niet zelfstandig kon lopen. Marja heeft mij in deze periode geholpen en ondersteund.
