– Legal and civic education is the foundation of any democracy. There are no independently thinking young people who can shape their civic identity if they do not know what set of rights, but also duties, they possess. However, merely passing on knowledge is not enough. Rights must be experienced and learned through action: participation in local initiatives, visits to courts and institutions, or direct exposure to processes in which young people will later participate as adult citizens. The Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of National Education – Paulina Piechna-Więckiewicz – shares a similar opinion. #EdukacjaPrawna #Obywatelskość #TechnologiaWszkołach (translated)
