V posledních týdnech Rusové výrazně zesílili ostřelování města a jeho okolí a očividně mají za cíl jednoduše zničit všechno, na co tam dosáhnou. Letecké útoky jsou vedeny bez jakéhokoli zjevného vojenského cíle proti obytným budovám a drony loví civilisty přímo v ulicích. Každý měsíc terorismus žoldáků kremelského režimu překračuje další a další hranice. Zatímco naši takzvaní „partneři“ jako by byli k utrpení Ukrajinců lhostejní. Část západní společnosti raději sleduje další seriály a dramata a k válce přistupuje jako k „trendu“, který postupně vychází z módy. Proč bychom tedy měli brát ohled na názory těch, kterým je náš osud lhostejný? Odpovědnost za tuto válku ale nelze zjednodušovat na celý národ bez rozdílu. Hlavní odpovědnost nese ruský režim, jeho vedení, armáda a lidé, kteří tuto agresi aktivně podporují a umožňují. Ti musí nést konkrétní odpovědnost za své činy. Ukrajina má plné právo na obranu a na údery proti legitimním vojenským cílům agresora. Rusové dál poměrně úspěšně postupují v likvidaci vlastní armády, kdy jejich ztráty na živé síle překročily (stejně jako v červenci) 40 000 vojáků. Počet ruských útoků se přitom v srpnu o něco snížil. A zatímco na frontě se Rusům zase tolik nedařilo, teror ukrajinského obyvatelstva jich šel podstatné lépe. S chybějícími interceptory, zejména proti balistice, a nasazováním proudových dronů, se efektivita ukrajinské protivzdušné obrany poměrně výrazně snížila. Rusové přitom útočí jak na ukrajinské logistické sklady či sklady s potravinami a na obchodní centra, tak ukrajinské přístavy a hraniční přechody, aby Ukrajinu zasáhli ekonomicky co nejhůře. A podle čísel se jim to poměrně dobře daří. Navzdory tomu Ukrajinci úspěšně pokračovali v úderech na ruskou logistiku, rafinérie a ne tak úplně vzdálených týl, kdy škálovali využití svých middle-strike dronů.
