12 osób zginęło w tragicznym wypadku polskiego autokaru na Węgrzech. W nocy z soboty na niedzielę pojazd z 57 pasażerami i dwoma kierowcami wypadł z autostrady M3 w okolicach Mezőkeresztes i Emőd. Autokarem wracała z Bośni i Hercegowiny pielgrzymka z Podkarpacia. Siedem osób trafiło do szpitali w ciężkim stanie, a inni pasażerowie odnieśli lżejsze obrażenia. Według wstępnych informacji kierowca mógł zasnąć za kierownicą; został zatrzymany przez węgierską policję. Na miejscu trwała akcja ratunkowa, a polskie służby konsularne i medyczne udzielają pomocy poszkodowanym oraz ich rodzinom. Prokuratura Okręgowa w Krośnie wszczęła śledztwo w sprawie katastrofy. Premier Donald Tusk poinformował, że podjął decyzję o wysłaniu na Węgry polskiego samolotu specjalnego z przedstawicielami Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych i służb medycznych.
