Et la situation ne devrait pas s’améliorer rapidement : aucune pluie significative n’est prévue à l’échelle nationale au cours des deux prochaines semaines. Les conséquences agricoles et forestières deviennent particulièrement préoccupantes, sur des écosystèmes déjà profondément éprouvés par les canicules et la sécheresse de cet été. ➡️ Les arbres continuent de perdre prématurément leurs feuilles. Or, en fin d’été et au début de l’automne, la photosynthèse permet encore d’accumuler des réserves carbonées qui seront mobilisées pour passer l’hiver et assurer la reprise au printemps. Une défoliation précoce réduit cette mise en réserve. Résultat : de nombreux arbres risquent d’aborder 2027 avec des réserves affaiblies. Lorsque ces stress se répètent d’une année à l’autre, on entre dans une logique de fatigue cumulative, pouvant favoriser le dépérissement. ➡️ Pour certains arbres fruitiers, 2027 se prépare déjà maintenant. La différenciation et le développement des bourgeons destinés à la prochaine saison sont en cours ou ont été fortement influencés par les conditions estivales. Chaleur extrême, sécheresse et défoliation peuvent altérer leur nombre, leur qualité et leur potentiel. Autrement dit, la météo de 2026 peut déjà peser sur les rendements de 2027. ➡️ Dans les champs fraîchement semés, la situation est également difficile. Le colza (lorsqu’il a pu être semé !) peut connaître des levées irrégulières, des retards de croissance et, dans les situations les plus sèches, des pertes importantes de plantules. ➡️ Mais l’une des situations les plus préoccupantes concerne les prairies.
