This is not the first time that Rede Globo interferes in the electoral process and condemns Brazil to some of the worst moments in its history. The first time it culminated in a regime of exception; another time, in an impeachment process. Wherever there was an error in Brazil, Globo's finger was there. By excluding Renan Santos, who was in third place in the polls, and preventing his participation in the debate, Globo contributes to making unfeasible exactly the renewal that the country needs. Renan is today the only one who, from this perspective, is gaining traction on the streets and setting the public debate. By removing him from this space, the possibility of an election in which Brazilians can choose not out of fear, but out of hope for building a different country, is also reduced.
