While taking into consideration the governor's requests, we will quickly examine what the government can do for the disaster-hit region and affected people and move proactively.
We are in a race against time to reach those still trapped.
We will go all out to find and rescue as many people as we can.
I urge the public to stay away from the coast. The government has set up a taskforce to gather information, assess any potential damage and, if necessary, prepare rescue operations.
We are still assessing the extent of injuries and property damage, but I have been informed that there have already been several injuries.
