A quarter of fifteen-year-olds do not understand even a short text. In this context, I would be interested to know whether the proposals to grant voting rights from the age of 16 ignore this fact or, on the contrary, cynically calculate with it. (translated)

No one is scaring that bankruptcy will come tomorrow; there is still a long way to go. However, only an idiot fails to see that the budget for 2027 is heading in this direction. It doesn't necessarily mean that those who support it are idiots. It's enough if they prioritize their own comfort today over the problems of others tomorrow. (translated)

„Když si bezstarostně celý večer objednávím, neměl bych se pak divit, když mi přinesou účet,“

I'm shaking my head at the frivolity of those who claim that "borrowing more and more for everyday expenses is not consuming the future because public services are being purchased for it." In the future, people will still have to buy public services. And besides that, they will have to pay interest on what we... (translated)

Crushing victory for AfD. It would be premature to label all of its voters as "Nazis." They are just desperate and want change. (translated)

The government claims: "The main priority of the budget is pro-growth investments." "The deficit will be higher because we need to invest a lot." Dry numbers say: Investments are growing by 10% compared to 2026. Operating expenses, which are not covered by income and therefore must be financed from the deficit, are growing by (translated)

We are planning to borrow more and more for regular operating expenses, even though we are having good economic times. In an irresponsible way, we are dissolving the cushion that is supposed to help us overcome crises. This is a policy that threatens everyone, especially the weakest and most vulnerable. (translated)

@kruty_daniel @hnutigenerace @MinFinCZ To není metodický problém, to je primitivní mediální manipulace. Tak snad na to česká média neskočí…🙏 #mediálníManipulace #ČeskáMédia #kritika

I had no illusions, but I didn't expect it to be this terrible. This is a deficit that would correspond to a deep economic crisis or the Covid epidemic. Yet we have growth and low unemployment. We are tunneling our own future. (translated)

Young people are certainly victims, as they will sooner or later be presented with a bill. However, people my age (I am 65) are much more threatened by today's life on credit. Funding our healthcare and social care will hardly fit into the budget in about 10 years, where a significant item will be interest from. (translated)

Dear voters of the government parties, it's up to you. If you don't want to drown in interest from debts, tell your politicians not to create such debts, or you won't vote for them. You will be defending your future with this. You will be the ones paying those interests, in any form. That they will be in this with you. (translated)

The invocation of "savings and investments" can only elicit a sad smile. This year, the deficit is 310 billion, investments are 263 billion. Even if we admit that all investments are effective (which they are not), we are borrowing 47 billion not for investments, but for lunch. Question: Will we save next year? (translated)

When politicians in opposition strongly condemn government practices as non-transparent and unacceptable, they should not adopt those practices and continue with them when they take over the government. And to claim that they are acting transparently. It is then difficult for them to expect that anyone would believe them. (translated)

Madam Minister @alenaschillerov was right when in 2024 she described the new practice of concealing work on the draft state budget until the end of August as "an attack on budget transparency." The preparation process for the draft has severely deteriorated in quality and for the proposals for the years 2025 and (translated)

V mém textu nenajdete o Babišovi ani slovo, pane doktore @hauer_tomas, toho tam pletete pouze Vy, nevím proč. Jmenuji pouze instituci @mpsvcz, jejíž argumentaci podporuji. Zadarmo to dělat nebudou. Nehoráznost by bylo tvrdit, že takový zájem neexistuje. #ZdravotníSystém #Děti #Názor

Borrowing a million for a car is not a tragedy yet. It's an extraordinary expense and can be paid back for a long time and regularly. What's worse is when you have to borrow for food and rent every month because your regular expenses are greater than your income. That cannot end well. And that's exactly what the Czech Republic is doing. (translated)

This text reveals a fatal misunderstanding of the relationship between politician and journalist in a democratic system. It's not a win-win. The politician represents power, the journalist represents the powerless, who have the right to control power. The politician can defend against false accusations and manipulations, but must not attack. (translated)

There is a legitimate "racket" around the amendment to the law on budgetary responsibility, and I am glad that the professional public is loudly warning and protesting. It is nothing less than our future. However, I will politely ask where the professional public was in November 2020, when ANO, ODS, and SPD... (translated)

Local governments in constant surplus, state budget in constant deficit. For many years. Here, it can no longer be maintained that mayors manage well unlike the government. That is a structural problem. And it requires structural changes in public administration and the distribution of shared taxes. If (translated)

If the government wants to demonstrate savings specifically in this area, it should be consistent and start with itself. Six members of the government have permanent police protection. That's five more than necessary. And it's certainly not cheap. (translated)
