Δεν εξετάζει επίσης καθόλου το κοινωνικό και οικονομικό πλαίσιο. Γιατί επιλέγουν άνθρωποι αυτήν τη φθηνή μορφή διακοπών; Πόσο κοστίζουν πλέον οι υπόλοιπες επιλογές για έναν εργαζόμενο; Τι δημόσιες και οικονομικά προσβάσιμες υποδομές υπάρχουν για διακοπές; Και όλα αυτά σε μια περίοδο που ένα πολύ μεγάλο κομμάτι της κοινωνίας είτε δεν μπορεί να κάνει διακοπές είτε αναγκάζεται να τις περιορίσει δραστικά λόγω κόστους. Στο ρεπορτάζ τονίζονται οι κίνδυνοι πυρκαγιάς και περιβαλλοντικής επιβάρυνσης. Δεν εξετάζεται όμως αν αυτοί οι κίνδυνοι μπορούν να αντιμετωπιστούν με ρύθμιση, υποδομές, οργανωμένους χώρους, μέτρα πυροπροστασίας και υγιεινής. Ο κίνδυνος παρουσιάζεται περίπου αυτομάτως ως επιχείρημα υπέρ της απαγόρευσης. Στους παράγοντες που αποφάσισαν και υπερασπίζονται την εκκένωση δίνεται άφθονος τηλεοπτικός χρόνος για να εξηγήσουν γιατί το ελεύθερο κάμπινγκ είναι πρόβλημα και γιατί η επέμβαση ήταν αναγκαία. Από την άλλη πλευρά, ακούμε μόνο, διαμεσολαβημένα από το ίδιο το ρεπορτάζ, ότι κάποιοι κατασκηνωτές είπαν πως το ελεύθερο κάμπινγκ «θα μπορούσε να ρυθμιστεί». Ποια είναι τα επιχειρήματά τους και πώς ακριβώς θα μπορούσε να ρυθμιστεί; Ο τηλεθεατής της δημόσιας τηλεόρασης δεν θα το μάθει.
