Media report: Americans buy house for Jørgen Wæver — he denies the claim Jørgen Wæver Johansen is now responding to Weekendavisen’s report about the purchase of a property involving his American business partners. According to Weekendavisen, Jørgen Wæver Johansen’s American business partners have spent DKK 5.4 million on buying a new property for him. Last year, the American company Greenland Development Partners acquired a stake in Greenland Water Bank, a company owned by Jørgen Wæver Johansen and Svend Hardenberg. Weekendavisen reports that it has obtained the payment receipt for the property transaction, showing that the American company transferred USD 823,000 from its address in New York to the former owner. However, in a written response to KNR, Jørgen Wæver Johansen denies that the Americans bought the property. According to Sermitsiaq, the deed lists Jørgen Wæver Johansen’s company, Inuit Properties Greenland, as the owner. He owns 100 percent of the company. Wæver Johansen told KNR that the property is a commercial investment. It is widely known that Nuuk faces a shortage of accommodation during the summer months. Jørgen Wæver Johansen says the investment in the property is a response to that situation. “The purpose is simple: to ensure that our employees and business partners have access to safe and reliable accommodation when they are working in Nuuk,” Jørgen Wæver Johansen wrote to KNR. Foreign nationals wishing to purchase property in Greenland require an exemption from the Greenlandic government unless they have lived and paid taxes in Greenland for at least two years. Jørgen Wæver Johansen told KNR that he is personally liable for the property. “The investment is structured on ordinary commercial terms through a combination of equity and secured, interest-bearing loans that must be repaid. I have assumed both the debt and the business risk.” “The property will be operated commercially, including for short-term stays. Investing in necessary capacity where demand clearly exceeds supply is exactly the kind of practical investment Greenland needs.” He also notes that his business relationship with the American company Greenland Development Partners is already well known. —KNR #Ejendom #Grønland #Investering

In Kyiv I proposed two tools for Europeans to show Putin that he won’t win his hybrid war against us, even if the Americans less interested in helping us. 1) Invite Ukraine into JEF (Joint Expeditionary Force) 2) Produce 100 million drones per year https://t.co/7hc2swF3Ir #Ukraine #JEF #Drones #UA #EU #US #RU

Trump is the 1st US President to express preference for a united Ireland in public. No need to go hair-on-fire about it or to exaggerate its significance. It doesn’t bring unity or a referendum any closer, but Trump probably reflects the view of many Americans. They, of course, #Trump #UnitedIreland #USPolitics #US #IE

“43% of U.S. adults said Muslims are less patriotic than other Americans, and 42% said Muslim Americans are having a negative impact on the country; 25% of U.S. adults said the Islamic religion is more likely than other religions to encourage violence. In 11 subsequent polls, that figure has never been lower than 38%, and in the past decade it has hovered between 45% and 52%. Early this year, about half of U.S. adults surveyed (51%) said Islam encourages violence more than other religions do; Republicans and independents who lean toward the GOP were far more likely than Democrats and Democratic leaners to say Islam encourages violence (76% vs. 29%). In the immediate aftermath of 9/11, the partisan gap was much smaller (32% vs. 23%)” - 25 Years After 9/11, a Portrait of Muslim Americans

The Downward Spiral of Gender Polarization The growing divide between men and women resembles less a debate than a divorce involving millions. Both sides escalate, talk past each other, and blame the other gender amid a mental-health crisis. Depression among Americans under thirty has doubled in eight years, while anxiety continues to rise. Each gender has failure modes and one successful path. Carl Jung called it individuation; a simpler term is integration. The integrated are not leading the conversation. The disordered are. Every man carries an inner feminine—the part that feels, intuits, and creates meaning. Jung called it the anima. Cut off from it, he becomes cold and contemptuous; overwhelmed by it, passive and moody. Every woman carries an inner masculine—the part that decides, asserts, and holds the line. Jung called it the animus. Cut off from it, she defers to stronger people; possessed by it, argumentative and rigid. I believe the four failure modes pair off. The cold, contemptuous man finds a timid woman who cannot challenge him; the red-pill industry calls this manhood. The passive man finds a domineering woman who can run his life; the feminist industry calls this liberation. A 2025 Nature Human Behaviour study of 14.8 million people in Taiwan, Denmark, and Sweden found that disordered individuals consistently marry one another across cultures and generations dating back to the 1930s. My theory is that integrated people increasingly date within a pool dominated by the disordered. They try, fail, and get hurt, then drift toward the same patterns. The pool corrupts those who might have healed it, creating a feedback loop. We are in a downward spiral: integrated people encounter disordered partners and become disordered themselves, while the already disordered grow worse. Reversal requires enough people to reject cynicism. When every encounter feels like proof that the other gender is broken, our own drift toward disorder begins to feel justified.
