Germany and France "which have always moved Europe together for decades" must find joint solutions between politics and business, said Volkswagen Group CEO Oliver Blume at a prior event of the consortium ahead of the Paris fair that starts this Monday. Our plan For Europe (which they presented at the beginning of the month) does not detail what we lack but rather what we can build and improve. This means, among other things and according to Blume, that the criterion Made in Europe, the definition of which is being debated for the Industrial Acceleration Act (IAA), "should reward true value creation, not only the origin of components but also design, development, engineering, production, and employment." Industry and politics must go hand in hand. #Volkswagen #CochesEléctricos #UniónEuropea (translated)
