Lula stated that, as a person from the Northeast, he was proud of the region's population, which he described as hardworking and persistent. He said that when he took office as President in 2003, the Northeast was neglected by the government, and millions of families were facing hunger and drought. According to him, programs like Light for All, Water for All, the São Francisco River Transposition, investments in family farming, and the Bolsa Família helped transform the lives of millions of Northeast residents. Lula assessed that the region had advanced greatly over more than 20 years and advocated for more opportunities and development. On the Day of the Northeastern, he sent greetings to the population. #Nordeste #Desenvolvimento #OrgulhoNordestino (translated)

The Raiz Banido Conservative celebrated electoral results in the Northeast and stated that Maranhão had rejected the PT in government and elected one centrist senator and another openly aligned with Bolsonaro. He also said that Alagoas had removed the Calheiros from the government and the Senate and that Flávio had won in a municipality in the interior of Ceará where Lula had received 70% of the votes in 2022. The author claimed that it was difficult to be right-wing in the region, alleging that these people faced threats, could lose their jobs, and feared that their cars would be damaged by political stickers. He said that right-wing Northeasterners had been able to make progress, although much was still lacking, and added that Jair had hit the mark again, despite some people criticizing Gaspar's choice.

LULA 1º TURNO. https://t.co/qFMPl865t6 #Lula #Nordeste #Jornalismo

O Nordeste quer mudança, desenvolvimento e oportunidade!
