The author described today's effort to anchor the crown in the Constitution as further evidence of the government's incompetence. He claimed that the cabinet has also resigned from basic improvements in citizens' lives, ignored the revolution in artificial intelligence, and has not addressed innovations in education or investments in research. According to him, under the leadership of Andrej Babiš, the Czech Republic has been turning into a museum of Europe. #ČeskáRepublika #politika #inovace #CZ #EU (translated)

Czech schools will have to face mergers, in accordance with changes in legislation that requires a minimum of 180 students for the independent operation of schools and kindergartens, with this reform expected to affect approximately one third of public schools. However, the current government indicates that it might eventually avoid strict rules for kindergartens. #školství #mateřskéškoly #reforma (translated)

The author wrote that, according to him, it was not primarily about Czech Television, but about the possibility for Zlokamura to push through a law declaring the Czech Republic a Russian gubernia using such a procedure and the votes of the MPs he offensively labeled. He added that Robert Plaga could then claim that he was only thinking about Czech education and called it a subject for reflection. #politika #českeskolství #svoboda #CZ #RU (translated)

Petra Pecková stated that the day before publishing the post, she met with the parents of the girl who survived a serious accident during a school trip but was left severely disabled. According to Pecková, the court attributed responsibility to the school and set damages in the tens of millions of crowns. The school was insured for 10 million, while the remaining amount, according to her, should be covered by the founder – a small municipality that did not have the means. Pecková noted that schools often do not have insurance for high amounts because such policies are expensive. She also wrote that similar cases fall under objective liability according to the Labor Code, and fulfillment is almost always certain. Therefore, she urged the government to consider supporting school insurance or establishing a guarantee fund at the Ministry of Education. She connected the proposal with the government's decision to support, starting next year, crop and livestock insurance for large agricultural enterprises. According to her, 200 million crowns a year was to be allocated for the new program of the Ministry of Agriculture. Pecková doubted whether farmers would actually secure better insurance thanks to the support, or whether their costs for existing policies would simply decrease. She also mentioned the possibility that they would continue to seek compensation for damages caused by frost or drought. #školství #pojištění #odpovědnost (translated)
