Daniel Schatz wrote that a historical building, which he claimed had survived two world wars, was set on fire in France the day before his post. He stated that the perpetrators were activists with Palestinian flags and that the fire occurred during violent riots, which SVT, according to Schatz, had described as youth protests for more resources for schools. He claimed that similar暴力 occurred in several European countries, with fires, looting, and attacks on police and community institutions. Schatz accused European governments of having long tolerated a political culture where left-extremist and identity-political movements, as well as parts of the Palestinian movement, were allowed to stretch the boundaries, which he claimed contributed to the normalization of violence. He called for immediate interventions against violence and glorifications of terrorism, strict legal consequences for attacks on the police and vandalism, and an end to what he described as a culture of excuses in political discourse. According to Schatz, the situation would otherwise worsen. #Demonstrationer #Våld #Politik (translated)
