Niedawno przetoczyła się dyskusja o wpływie farm wiatrowych na pogodę/klimat/opady. To, że turbiny wiatrowe powodują wzrost temperatury przy powierzchni (a przez to zmianę parowania z gleby czy wody), to nie żadna teoria spiskowa, ale mierzalny i obserwowany fakt opisany między innymi w prestiżowym czasopiśmie Joule (Miller & Keith, 2018). Badania te pokazują, że pokrycie zapotrzebowania USA na prąd wyłącznie wiatrem podniosłoby średnią temperaturę kontynentu o 0,24°C, a w rejonie samych farm wiatrowych aż o 0,54°C. Ten efekt ocieplenia został udokumentowany pomiarowo na obszarze 28 działających farm wiatrowych w USA. Czy to dużo, czy mało? Dla porównania: od początku ery przemysłowej stężenie CO2 wzrosło z ok. 280 ppm do 420 ppm. W wartościach bezwzględnych oznacza to wzrost o znikome 0,014% w całej objętości atmosfery. Mimo to tej malutkiej, w skali całej atmosfery zmianie, przypisuje się katastrofalny wpływ na globalny klimat. Skoro tak minimalna zmiana w składzie powietrza ma rzekomo wywoływać rewolucję klimatyczną, to podobnie znacznego efektu można się spodziewać na skutek bezpośrednich zmian w atmosferze, jakie spowodują ogromne ilości wiatraków. Podnoszenie temperatury na dużych obszarach, masowe odbieranie energii kinetycznej wiatru i zaburzanie naturalnych przepływów mas powietrza na ogromną skalę może nieść za sobą poważne konsekwencje. Dlatego uzasadnione jest, aby dogłębnie zbadać tę hipotezę , żebyśmy pod hasłem ratowania planety po nie wpadli z deszczu pod rynnę. Podsumowując, to zagadnienie wymaga pilnych, merytorycznych i niezależnych badań, zanim bezkrytycznie przebudujemy cały system energetyczny w oparciu o technologię, której pełnych konsekwencji dla wzorców pogodowych i klimatu jeszcze w pełni nie znamy. On ajoute de l’inédit à l’inédit. Après mai, juin, juillet et août… voici septembre ! Dès demain, les températures approcheront de nouveau localement les 37-40°C dans le sud de la France. Certains records mensuels pourraient être battus de plusieurs degrés, avec une facilité devenue déconcertante. Les pluies apportées récemment par les orages n’auront offert qu’un répit. Avec le retour de la chaleur et d’une forte évapotranspiration, les sols vont rapidement perdre une partie de cette eau. Nous pourrions ainsi atteindre le niveau d'humidité des sols le plus bas jamais observés à cette période de l’année. Nous ne sommes d’ailleurs plus très loin des seuils de la vigilance orange canicule. Si elle venait à être déclenchée, la France aurait connu des vigilances orange canicule sur cinq mois différents en 2026. La plus précoce, la plus intense, la plus durable… et peut-être désormais l’une des plus tardives. Soupir... #canicule #climat #météo
