Murat Çolak wrote that Cracovia has unveiled a third jersey dedicated to St. John Paul II, whose life — as he emphasized — was connected with Krakow and the club. The design was inspired by Zakrzówek, where Karol Wojtyła worked physically in a quarry during his youth. Çolak also pointed to a commemorative plaque located underwater, installed by divers. As he explained, the blue of Zakrzówek inspired the color of the jersey. The back of the shirt features the inscription "Holy Father, your Cracovia remembers you," and the hidden motif of ones references the number retired for John Paul II. According to Çolak, the ones were visible after personalizing the jersey; this solution appeared on the Cracovia kit for the first time. Çolak described the project as an expression of the club's identity and respect for its history. He thanked the marketing team and the Official Cracovia Store for the realization, the photo session, and the video clip. #Cracovia #JanPawełII #Kraków (translated)

Cracovia announced that its third set of uniforms commemorated St. John Paul II, whom the club described as a special supporter of the Pasy. The light blue color was meant to reference the waters of Zakrzówek, where Karol Wojtyła worked in a quarry between 1940 and 1941. On the back of the shirts, there was an inscription that read "Holy Father, your Cracovia remembers you," and the number 1 on the personalization was meant to symbolize the Pope's reserved number. The club stated that the players were to wear these uniforms during the match against Legia Warsaw, the day after the celebration of October 16, Pope John Paul II Day, which commemorates the anniversary of Karol Wojtyła's election as pope. Cracovia emphasized that it would only wear jerseys dedicated to John Paul II on this occasion. https://t.co/HnwKNitomA #Cracovia #śwJanPawełII #kibice (translated)

Ich bin in Polen, an dem Ort wo der Deutsche Mauerfall begonnen hat. Der Mauerfall begann nicht in Berlin und die nächste Mauer in Deutschland wird aktuell gebaut.
