Kids, nu blir det söndagsskola med farbror Sfeir. Idag ska det handla om att rösta i ett val. Den 15 september 2002 var det riksdagsval hemma i Sverige. För oss som befann oss med det svenska specialförbandet i Afghanistan såg valdagen något annorlunda ut. Talibanregimen hade nyligen fallit. Kabul var fortfarande en spökstad präglad av krig, vägspärrar och beväpnade män. Flyktingarna i Peshawar började sakta återvända. Sverige hade bara några månader tidigare återupptagit de diplomatiska förbindelserna med Afghanistan och den svenska närvaron i huvudstaden höll på att byggas upp igen. Men rösta skulle vi. Så tog vi oss genom Kabul i snabb konvoj till den svenska representationen, iförda full stridsmundering: kroppsskydd, hjälm, AK5 och Glock 19, båda med patron i loppet, samt förstärkningsvapen. Allt i några soft-skin Land Rover Defenders. Väl innanför murarna väntade däremot något närmast demonstrativt vardagligt: Ambassadör Peter Tejler tog emot, svenska valsedlar, kuvert och den välbekanta proceduren. Vi turades om att vakta medan kamraterna gick in och gjorde samma sak som miljoner svenskar gjorde hemma den dagen. Kontrasten har stannat kvar hos mig. Utanför fanns ett Afghanistan där makt under årtionden hade avgjorts med invasioner, kupper, inbördeskrig och gevär. Innanför stod ett antal tungt beväpnade svenska soldater och avgjorde vem som skulle styra deras land genom att stoppa ett papper i ett kuvert. Jag har röstat i många svenska val före och efter, men ingen vallokal har riktigt kunnat konkurrera med Kabul 2002. The Value of Truth in Science Humanity developed the scientific process to observe the universe and uncover its fundamental truths. However, the increasing feminization of academia has, in some fields, shifted emphasis from truth toward social equity. As a result, certain areas of science appear less focused on understanding how the world works and more focused on reshaping it according to political ideals. A study titled *“Taboos and Self-Censorship Among U.S. Psychology Professors”* asked professors whether they prioritized scientific truth or social-equity goals when the two appeared to conflict. According to the study, 66.4% of male professors chose truth, compared with 43% of female professors—a 23-point gap. This suggests that some academics would knowingly place ideology above truth. The study also found that nearly all professors feared social sanctions for expressing their empirical beliefs. Researchers observed that younger, more left-leaning, and female faculty members were more likely to oppose controversial scholarship. Psychology faculty are currently approximately 56% women and 44% men. Based on the study’s figures, an estimated 53.3% of professors rank truth first. Women also receive roughly 71–75% of newly awarded psychology doctorates. If women eventually comprise 73% of the field, only about 49.3% of psychologists would rank truth first. The broader implications are significant. As women’s representation in scientific and academic institutions increases through both natural trends and affirmative-action policies such as DEI, research and data may be disregarded when they conflict with political goals. Psychology influences education, medicine, human resources, therapy, media, and other institutions concerned with human behavior. These fields shape legislation, psychological diagnoses, corporate policies, pharmaceutical prescriptions, and popular advice. Truth is not necessarily losing to lies. Rather, as institutions become increasingly feminized, they may gradually stop valuing truth itself.

Pressmeddelande från KD 10 September 2026 10:55 Nytt medieunderlag granskar Socialdemokraternas historiska samarbete med Sveriges muslimska råd Inför valet 2026 presenterar teologie doktor Sameh Egyptson ett nytt medieunderlag om Socialdemokraternas historiska samarbete med Sveriges muslimska råd och hur frågor om politisk representation, rekrytering och mobilisering i religiösa miljöer har utvecklats sedan 1990-talet. I slutet av 1990-talet formulerade Socialdemokratiska Broderskapsrörelsen och Sveriges muslimska råd gemensamma mål kring bland annat medlemsrekrytering, politisk utbildning och representation på socialdemokratiska vallistor. Rapport 4/99 innehöll bland annat mål om 2 000 muslimska S-medlemmar, 300 politiskt grundutbildade och kandidater på kommun-, landstings- och riksdagslistor. Det nya medieunderlaget samlar dokumentation från perioden 1994–2026 och undersöker vad som går att säga om utvecklingen efter det historiska samarbetet. Som en del av tidslinjen behandlas även Othman Al-Tawalbeh, som under olika perioder varit verksam inom bland annat folkbildningen och som i dag företräder Socialdemokraterna i Åstorps kommunfullmäktige. Han är också ledamot i den lokala arbetarekommunens styrelse och kandidat i kommunvalet 2026. Underlaget behandlar även senare socialdemokratisk kampanjverksamhet i anslutning till moskéer. Socialdemokraterna i Göteborg skriver i sin egen verksamhetsberättelse att partiorganisationen under 2023 genomförde kampanjer utanför moskéer i samband med fredagsbönen. I redovisningen av verksamheten 2025 beskrivs också en Eid-kampanj där över 2 000 presenter delades ut vid moskéer. – Syftet är inte att hävda att ett nästan trettio år gammalt samarbete fortfarande gäller eller att rikta anklagelser mot enskilda personer. Jag vill samla källmaterialet och ställa frågan om vad den representationsmodell som etablerades på 1990-talet fick för långsiktiga konsekvenser, säger Sameh Egyptson. Medieunderlaget innehåller originalkällor, en tidslinje och ett antal frågor till Socialdemokraterna. Frågorna handlar bland annat om hur det historiska samarbetet följdes upp, hur partiet i dag ser på politisk mobilisering i religiösa miljöer och hur man ser på religiösa organisationers roll som företrädare för grupper av väljare.
