Ultimora.net reported that Tesla had introduced a new electric Roadster developed with SpaceX, equipped, according to the post, with cold gas thrusters to lift off the ground and an intake system that would allow it to travel upside down. The model would be available in three versions. The Rocket variant, a single-seater and not road-legal, would accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 0.59 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 230 mph. Tesla would have declared a range of over 300 miles. Production was expected to start in 2028, while prices had not yet been announced. https://t.co/KhnKZCrXcs #Tesla #Roadster #AutoElettrica (translated)

Daniel wrote that Tesla unveiled a new Roadster, which during the presentation was supposed to take off from a ramp using cold gas engines, fly over other cars, spin in the air, and land. According to his account, during the presentation, acceleration from 0 to 60 mph was shown to take 0.81 seconds, and later Tesla published data indicating that the Rocket version is expected to achieve this in less than 0.59 seconds. Daniel stated that the Roadster is to be offered in three configurations: a two-seater Performance, a two-seater Thrust with additional cold gas engines at the rear, and a one-seater Rocket, whose engines are supposed to enable upward movement and aerial rotation. According to Daniel, acceleration to 60 mph is expected to be less than 1.6 seconds for the Performance and less than 0.9 seconds for the Thrust. He also mentioned that the car would have a range exceeding 300 miles, and the Rocket would reach a top speed of over 230 mph. Daniel also described active aerodynamics, a system for sucking the car to the surface, steer-by-wire control, and a construction using magnesium, titanium, and carbon fiber. He wrote that Tesla showed how the downforce system allowed the car to stay on its wheels even while stationary, and the cold gas engines were supposed to stabilize it during flight. The design of the Roadster was said to be inspired by SR-71 and F-35 airplanes. According to Daniel, the Performance is to be road-legal, the Thrust will be produced in a limited series, and the Rocket will be available by invitation only and will not be allowed on public roads. He wrote that reservations in Poland have already started: the initial payment is to be 22,000 PLN, and another 190,000 PLN must be paid within 10 days. The first payment is refundable until the remaining amount is paid. Daniel stated that production is scheduled to start in 2028, and Elon Musk referred to the Roadster as a "rocket car." #Tesla #Roadster #innowacje (translated)

EFIEBER wrote that Tesla introduced the new Roadster almost nine years after its first presentation and demonstrated for the first time what had been promised for years. Accordingly, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (96.6 km/h) in less than 0.59 seconds, reaches a top speed of over 370 km/h, and has a range of over 480 km. According to EFIEBER, the Roadster has 10 cold gas thrusters, two ultra-high-pressure tanks with a total volume of 600 liters, as well as a compressor-replenishable compressed air system. The thrusters could generate additional thrust and lift, enabling movements in the air. An active intake system enables more than 2 g lateral acceleration and even upside-down driving. According to EFIEBER, there are three variants – Performance, Thrust, and Rocket – and up to two seats. #Tesla #Roadster #Technologie (translated)
