Prezydent podpisał ustawę. Tusk: to nie ja wygrałem

Mr. Nawrocki, Unfortunately, I listened to this hmmm "message" and checked it against the documents. And, as usual, I have a problem. A big one. Because when you set aside the gestures, the teleprompter, and the political phrases, what remains is a series of facts mixed with half-truths, altered chronology, forecasts presented as certainties, and accusations that are not even confirmed by the documents of your own Office and a mass of other manipulations. Step by step. "The campaign promise of fuel at 5.19." No. Mr. Donald Tusk’s specific statement about 5.19 PLN was made in JUNE 2022. Parliamentary elections were scheduled for August 8, 2023. Only then did the election campaign begin in the sense of the Electoral Code. But it gets much more interesting with your quote... In the message, you connected 5.19 PLN, "one simple decision," and... a VAT reduction 🤦‍♂️ However, in the original statement about 5.19, Tusk talked about the MARGINS of Orlen and Lotos. And in a later statement about "one decision," he also talked about limiting Orlen's profits. Not about VAT! 🤦‍♂️ You are manipulating the Prime Minister's statement, and you are using the institution of the Address to the Nation for that... Exactly the same version about VAT was spread by Mr. Bogucki in the morning, but in his case, nothing surprises me anymore. A coincidence? Let’s move on. You claim that your project would cause "an immediate drop in fuel prices of over 2 PLN." Meanwhile, your OWN justification explicitly states that the mechanism DOES NOT START when the law comes into force. First, specific market conditions must occur. Then the Council of Ministers MAY issue a regulation. Only then does the mechanism begin to work. Where is the "immediate" here? Did you read your "own" project? Or are you just repeating this nonsense from Mr. Przydacz? Moreover, earlier materials from KPRP talked about an ESTIMATE of 1.70–2.60 PLN 🤦‍♂️ In the address, the estimate has already turned into a guaranteed effect 🤦‍♂️ Next, you say that the project is "good for the budget"... Meanwhile, your own justification predicts a loss of up to 600 million PLN just from the retail sales tax and further, unestimated costs of any potential excise tax reduction. I ask again - did you read your own project? Because you probably didn’t write it manually... Even more interesting. In the address: "The government bears full responsibility for fuel prices." In the justification of your project: market disruptions have an "objective character and are independent of entrepreneurs and the government".... So please decide. Full responsibility of the government or factors independent of the government? Because both versions cannot be true at the same time 🤦‍♂️ "The Marshal of the Sejm freezes the project." The project was submitted on September 18. On the same day, it was directed to the Legislative Office and BEOS. Then for opinions and consultations. Moreover, KPRP talked about the possibility of "freezing" as early as September 17 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ THE DAY BEFORE THE PROJECT WAS SUBMITTED TO THE SEJM! So first, a narrative about freezing was created, and only later did the Marshal receive the bill 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Are you communicating with the rest of the "experts" in your office?? Next, we hear that the government deliberately keeps prices high because it wants to profit from VAT and dividends from Orlen. Proof? None was provided! A higher price may mean higher nominal VAT revenues. Orlen can pay dividends to shareholders. But one does not imply the other: this is NOT proof that the government deliberately keeps fuel prices high. This is attributing a motive without providing evidence 🤦‍♂️ Then you sign the law and say: "Every zloty obtained from this law must be spent on reducing fuel prices." A moment earlier, you conceded that the law DOES NOT CONTAIN a mechanism for passing that money on to reduce prices 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Exactly. So it "mustn't." This is your political demand, not the legal effect of the signed law 🤷‍♂️ Moody’s? Yes. Here, the fact is a fact: Poland's rating was lowered from A2 to A3. But why was there no information that at the same time, the outlook was changed from negative to STABLE? Why does the rating decision then create a vision that "tomorrow there may not be enough for pensions and armaments"? (translated)

As most of you probably already know, I have been nominated for the Heroes of the Capital Market 2026 XD I don't know who came up with such an idea, but thank you and I admire the courage, because I know that a few people were outraged. The link to vote is in the post below. However, I encourage you not to vote for me, but for other creators. Because if I accidentally win, I'll have to send my brother-in-law or Mariusz. And they could embarrass me. Personally, I'll probably vote for @Inwestomat_eu or @atlasETF. (translated)

Mr. Czarnek, since we are already making this a bill for the government's policy, let's check the entire bill, not just the politically convenient items. Is inflation rising? Yes, but from the fact that fuel prices drive up CPI, it does not automatically follow that the increase in fuel prices is a result of the Polish government's decisions. 🤦‍♂️ That is simply a mistake in your reasoning or a deliberate manipulation of public opinion, because the effect of fuel prices on inflation does not determine the cause of fuel prices themselves. 🤷‍♂️ The Central Statistical Office indeed indicated transport, especially fuel, as a significant factor in price growth. I read that too, but it did not state anywhere: that is Donald Tusk's responsibility. You keep reminding us of Mr. Tusk's words, that he promised 5.19 zł. Yes. In June 2022. However, if statements from several years ago are to be an indefinite guarantee of fuel prices regardless of oil prices, war, sanctions, the dollar exchange rate, and the situation on the world market, then I propose to apply this method consistently. 🤷‍♂️ In 2011, Jarosław Kaczyński said: "The excise tax can simply be lowered. If it is lowered, the price of gasoline will also fall." At that time, the price of Pb95 was around 5.14 zł. Ten years later, already under the PiS government, the same Jarosław Kaczyński explained that the excise tax should not be lowered because it limits the state's revenue. 🤦‍♂️ So I understand that old declarations are valid forever, but only for politicians from the opposing camp? 🙂 Later you again claim that high fuel prices are the government's policy. No, Mr. Czarnek. The government influences taxes, some regulations, and support instruments - and that's all. However, it does not determine the world price of oil, does not control the supply of fuel, the dollar exchange rate, or the geopolitical situation. 🤷‍♂️ And since we are so eager to find politicians responsible for the current tensions in the energy market, it might be worth taking a look at Donald ... but Trump, your idol, and his policy towards Iran. Only then does your narrative become a bit less convenient. You claim that more expensive fuel means more expensive transport, production, and pressure on prices. Yes. That is actually true. But again - describing the effects of expensive fuel does not prove that the cause of expensive fuel is Tusk. Professor, you can really criticize the government; there are plenty of such issues or decisions. But maybe without equating: fuel is getting more expensive -> inflation is rising -> therefore Tusk is to blame. 🤦‍♂️ It is really becoming very irritating. (translated)

In connection with the problem of establishing contact with Monika Piątkowska's team, we present our proposal regarding the debate before the second round of elections in Krakow: 1. Date - October 8, 6 PM. 2. Duration - 1 hour. 3. Location - studio in the Main Market Square. 4. Producer - Telewizja Polska (Polish Television). 5. The producer will provide the signal free of charge to all interested media. 6. Moderator - to be determined. 7. Rules: During the debate, questions will only be asked by the participants. The moderator will manage the time. The number of questions and thematic blocks - to be determined. Participants will respond while standing. They will not have gadgets, notes, or use mobile phones. If Monika Piątkowska's team would be interested in this form of debate, we would jointly approach TVP with a request for its realization. TVP, in its history, has produced such events many times, providing the signal to other media. The format of the debate and the lack of an active moderator immediately cuts off any discussions about the media's bias. We prefer that voters focus on the substantive side of the debate rather than discussing who the host might favor. (translated)

Here is the translation of the tweet: "My Bugatti Tourbillon Coupe will be produced at the end of 2028. But I will be flying to France in October/November this year to the Bugatti headquarters to configure the car live, so I will definitely make some coverage of that. Buying a Bugatti directly from the first hand comes with a number of benefits. The first of them is that we do not lose money on the car, and often it is an investment where in the secondary market we can resell it after 1.5 years for often even 1 million euros more. Another thing is the annual Christmas party at the Chateau in Molsheim at the Bugatti headquarters where you get to know other owners and the CEO and do networking. There is also an annual gathering of Bugatti owners and a week of driving in, for example, South Africa, together with other owners. So not only is the car an investment, but also through networking with other UHNWI it is an opportunity for new businesses and contacts." (translated)
