Nella tarda serata di ieri, due caccia Eurofighter F-2000 della Task Force Air “Baltic Thunder III” dell’#AeronauticaMilitare sono decollati in modalità #scramble nell’ambito della missione #NATO di difesa aerea sul fianco orientale dell’Alleanza, in seguito alla violazione dello spazio aereo lituano da parte di un drone. Gli equipaggi italiani hanno intercettato il velivolo senza pilota, neutralizzandolo nel rispetto delle procedure operative previste dall’Alleanza. Si tratta del secondo episodio, nell’arco di un mese, che vede coinvolti i nostri caccia. «È anche per episodi come questo che la presenza dei nostri militari sul Fianco Est è fondamentale, a garanzia della sicurezza collettiva.
