Zbigniew Bogucki wrote that the future of Poland, the Church, and civilization is primarily decided in human hearts and families, not on battlefields. He attributed these words to the Archbishop of Szczecin-Kamień, Wiesław Śmigło, who was said to have expressed them during the reflections of the Jasna Góra Appeal. According to Bogucki, the archbishop asked Mary for support for spouses, parents, and families in difficult situations. He also spoke about the need to guard faith, the sanctity of life, marital love, the unity of the Church, and peace. He pointed to those losing their faith, young people uncertain about the meaning of life, lonely seniors, and a divided society, emphasizing that one should not remain indifferent to these problems. #Kościół #Rodzina #Wiara (translated)

He called Putin a war criminal and assessed that the Russian president decided to celebrate his 74th birthday in this way, adding that he wished it would be his last. He also expressed confusion towards politicians who— as he wrote—smiled while shaking hands with Putin. Kaszuwara stated that around 6 a.m. further attacks with cruise missiles launched from Russian bombers were expected, and warnings indicated the launching of several dozen missiles.
