⚠️ KONSERWACJA PRZEZ ZNISZCZENIE Szanowni Państwo, ⚠️ Z przykrością widzimy, że po odsłonięciu rusztowania okazało się, że zniszczono oryginalny 500-letni herb piastowski nadany Tarnowskim Górom przez Jana II Dobrego wraz z historyczną datą 1526 od której nasze 500-lecie jest liczone. ⚠️ Niezwykle smutne i symboliczne jest to, że dokonano zniszczenia 500-letnego herbu w 500-lecie Tarnowskich Gór. Jego miejsce miał zająć symbol państwa zaborczego - orzeł pruski. O sprawie alarmowaliśmy w marcu na Rynku: https://t.co/nWWI16eNvg ⚠️ Chyba najbardziej smutne w tej sprawie jest to, że w (nie)zrozumiały sposób nikt nie jest w stanie udzielić nam, Mieszkańcom, informacji odnośnie tego jaka artystyczna instalacja ma zastąpić 500-letni piastowski herb Jana II Dobrego. ⚠️ Coraz częściej mam wrażenie, że różne wpływowe polityczne siły w naszym mieście świętować chcą nie 500-lecie a (niecałe i zakończone) 180-lecie. Czego? Prusko-niemieckiego panowania na Górnym Śląsku. To nie jest spór o kawałek kamienia. To jest rozmowa o pamięci, tożsamości i szacunku dla historii. Nikt nie kwestionuje potrzeby rzetelnej ochrony zabytków. Historia to symbole i wartości, które przekazujemy następnym pokoleniom. Prusy były państwem zaborczym a Śląsk był pod zaborem pruskim, później niemieckim. Dla wielu polskich rodzin były symbolem utraty własnego państwa, germanizacji i ciężkiej pracy zwykłych ludzi, którzy często nie mieli żadnych praw socjalnych ani wpływu na własny los. To również część historii naszego Śląska. Trudno zrozumieć, dlaczego dziś – w wolnej i niepodległej Polsce – na reprezentacyjnym budynku miałby dominować symbol państwa zaborczego, skoro można zachować piastowskiego orła, tak mocno związanego z polskimi korzeniami Śląska. Pamięć o historii nie wymaga oddawania pierwszeństwa symbolom dawnych władz. Przeciwnie – powinna uczyć, kim jesteśmy i skąd wyrastają nasze korzenie. Konstytucja Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej zobowiązuje do strzeżenia dziedzictwa narodowego. Dla wielu mieszkańców pozostawienie piastowskiego orła byłoby właśnie wyrazem troski o to najstarsze dziedzictwo oraz szacunku dla pełnej historii Tarnowskich Gór. #DrKroczek #TarnowskieGóry #historia #dziedzictwo
