Ja’akov Zada Daniel, představitel Eliho Elmaliaha v seriálu Fauda, podává v páté řadě jeden ze svých nejlepších hereckých výkonů. Pozoruhodný je i jeho vlastní životní příběh. Ve dvou letech přišel o matku. Otec nedokázal čtyři děti vychovávat sám, a tak Ja’akov ve třech letech spolu se třemi staršími sestrami našel nový domov v SOS dětské vesničce Neradim v Aradu. Ve třinácti letech ztratil i otce. V Neradimu vyrůstal až do dospělosti. Vychovatelka Lili rozpoznala jeho talent a v deseti letech ho přihlásila do dramatického kroužku. Důležitou oporou mu byl také učitel angličtiny David Dattner, někdejší pilot britského RAF, který se po přestěhování do Izraele věnoval znevýhodněným dětem. Ještě před hereckou kariérou sloužil v elitní protiteroristické mista‘arvim jednotce Duvdevan. Prostředí, které Fauda zachycuje, tak znal z vlastní zkušenosti. Armáda mu navíc dala pocit sounáležitosti: konečně se cítil jako jeden z ostatních, nikoli jako sirotek z dětského domova. Po vojně vystudoval herectví v Tel Avivu s podporou stipendijního programu IMPACT! organizace Friends of the IDF. Než se prosadil, vracel se do Aradu učit děti dramatickou výchovu. Neradim podporuje dodnes, pomáhá získávat prostředky na péči o děti a pravidelně se za nimi vrací. Ja’akov je mensch. #Fauda #herectví #inspirace
