So ist auch unsere Antwort: Das russische Generalkonsulat in Bonn wird geschlossen. Der Vertrag über das Russische Haus wird gekündigt (yes!). Einreisekontrollen werden verschärft. Weitere Personen sollen sanktioniert und der Druck auf die Schattenflotte erhöht werden. Alles richtig. Aber wo ist in diesem Paket eigentlich der Preis, der Moskau davon abhalten soll, es noch einmal zu versuchen? Genau das ist der entscheidende Punkt. Diplomatische und administrative Maßnahmen räumen endlich Dinge auf, die längst hätten erledigt sein müssen. Abschreckung beginnt aber erst dort, wo der Angreifer beim nächsten Mal mit Kosten rechnen muss, die ihm tatsächlich wehtun. Kiesewetter fordert deshalb unter anderem Taurus für die Ukraine. Strack-Zimmermann einen europäischen Mechanismus, bei dem auf russische Sabotage automatisch vorher festgelegte Sanktionen folgen. Darüber kann man im Einzelnen streiten. Über die Grundfrage eigentlich nicht: Wenn Russland nach einem gescheiterten Anschlag auf deutschem Boden lediglich verliert, was es hier ohnehin längst nicht mehr hätte haben dürfen – was genau soll Moskau beim nächsten Versuch abschrecken? Und Merz hat sich tatsächlich nicht gezeigt, es war wohl nicht so wichtig, dass mit russischem Auftrag beinahe ein Sprengstoffanschlag auf deutschem Boden mit möglicherweise Toten gelungen wäre. #Russland #Sanktionen #Deutschland
