Jon De Lorraine wrote that the Corniche Kennedy, in the 7th arrondissement of Marseille, was among the most upscale areas of the city, with its prestigious villas, luxury residences, and properties facing the Mediterranean. He reminded that Marseille had a video surveillance network but felt that even affluent neighborhoods were no longer spared and that the situation had "reached a new level." #Marseille #Sécurité #Vidéoprotection (translated)

Zdeněk Šarapatka commented on Mirka Němcová's appearance on Czech television and wrote that her expression, in his opinion, conveyed suffering and resentment. He referred to her sitting for an hour opposite Robert Šlachta as an act of bravery. He attributed to him and his team a role in the fall of the Nečas government, the formation of Zeman's presidential government, and the subsequent rise of ANO and Andrej Babiš. He recalled that thirteen years ago, 400 members of Šlachta's command intervened at the government building and that the operation, according to him, concerned luxury handbags and surveillance connected to Jana Nagyová. Šarapatka assigned responsibility to Šlachta and his colleague from the VSZ for Miloš Zeman's refusal to accept 101 signatures of MPs from the then Speaker of the Chamber, Němcová, and to appoint a government according to the Constitution. He described Zeman's government as a composition of people from the environment of social democrats and their supporters. He also stated that the state, in his opinion, subsequently faced problems with Babiš, whom he accused of embezzling public property. He labeled Šlachta as a former policeman and ally of Zeman and Babiš who became a politician. He estimated that he could switch to Václav Láska, who, according to him, hinted at new members of his senatorial club on television the day before. According to Šarapatka, Němcová's departure from high politics was not a reason for her tenure in the Senate and earlier in the Chamber to end in the way she demonstrated on Czech Television. In conclusion, he thanked her for her public service. #respekt (translated)

Masian believed he understood that Balde was not part of Flick's plans, but felt that the defense did not have enough depth to afford to dismiss a player. He argued that Balde could have received more minutes if those of Cancelo and Espart had been distributed on the right side, which might have prevented Eric — who had played more than 600 — and Koundé, also options in central defense, from chaining so many matches. According to him, Balde now lacked rhythm and Flick risked having to align him by default. #Football #FCBarcelona #Tactique (translated)

Impact reported that Tiziri Digne, presented in the publication as the wife of Lucas Digne, had downplayed the looting on October 17. In an Instagram story, she recalled that historical episodes such as July 14, 1789, May '68, the July Days, and the February Revolution of 1848 were also marked by destruction and confrontations, and that they had contributed, according to her, to current rights and social gains. She defended the claims of Gen Z, parents, lawyers, firefighters, and caregivers, and argued that the looting of a luxury storefront or the burning of a bus stop should not distract from deeper issues. She specifically cited the lack of resources in schools and hospitals, sexual violence in schools and after-school programs, police violence, inequalities, and racism. She also mentioned Mr. Nunez and criticized the fact that presidential candidates wearing electronic bracelets or already condemned continue to seek the highest offices. Tiziri Digne finally expressed that the contested struggles today could be celebrated in the future. #Révolution #Injustice #ChangementSocial (translated)

They referred to waves of looting in connection with riots in France and said that similar incidents could occur in Sweden. Ridefixer hoped that the police had resources to protect businesses, but argued that in practice it was very difficult to protect everyone during such riots. #säkerhet #brott #luxusvaror (translated)
