Marko Lotrič 2d

Marko Lotrič wrote that Asta Vrečko from the Levica party is spreading lies about him, and he labeled the events in the National Council this week as a political farce. He believes that some have not accepted that they are no longer in power, which is why they are creating political confrontations and personally discrediting him. He emphasized that he respects the role of unions and non-governmental organizations, but in his view, their fundamental mission is not political activism, but rather representing the interests of the people. He added that he himself represents the economy, craftsmen, entrepreneurs, employers, and local communities, which, according to him, create jobs and contribute to the development of Slovenia. Lotrič stated that the voting in the National Council was carried out according to valid rules and that he respects its outcome. He wrote that despite the attacks, he will continue to advocate for the interests of the economy and local communities and strive for cooperation and development of Slovenia. He added that he is not afraid of anyone, as he owes nothing to anyone. He described the political moves of Asta Vrečko and personal attacks as ridiculous, but said that he must respond for the sake of the National Council’s reputation and respect for democratic institutions. He accused Vrečko, some non-governmental organizations, and unions of going too far and causing great damage to the country. He expressed hope that people will soon bring them back down to earth. #Slovenija #Politika #Gospodarstvo (translated)

Fabrizio Biasin 4d

Fabrizio Biasin wrote that the mistakes by Lautaro, Martínez, and Spence weighed on Inter's defeat, but he pointed out that the loss of balance after the 1-2 goal was the most difficult problem to accept. According to him, Chivu's team had stopped playing as a group and had left spaces for Bruges that the opponents were good at exploiting. Biasin noted that Inter was not a Champions League-winning team before the match, nor had it become a hopeless team after the defeat. He argued that, to express their potential, they needed to recognize their limits and approach European matches with more humility and balance. #Inter #ChampionsLeague #calcio (translated)

Lookin 🔴⚪️ 4d

Lookin wrote that, in his fan opinion, the team had the resources, facilities, and people to be among the best in Central Europe and to regularly play in the Champions League. According to him, the goal should have been to fight for advancement every year, instead of focusing on collecting domestic titles, for which, in his opinion, a few outstanding performances per season were enough, with the results in other matches to be "kicked somehow." He criticized that the team repeatedly promised after the season to also focus on cups, but then, according to him, returned to a cautious playing style. This year, he believed that this would change, partly due to reinforcements and good opening matches in which they played quickly and combinationally. However, he felt that the team subsequently shifted back to a lower gear. In connection with the pursuit of the Champions League, he wrote that Slavia from 2019 would have beaten that opponent 5:0, and Jindra still would not have been satisfied with the performance. He added that losing is possible, but the team should not become a target for mockery. He described the performance from the previous day as outright ridiculous.

An Abandoned Italian Newsstand Just Became the World’s Smallest Theatre. Fifteen minutes. One actor. No stage. Luciano Magaldi Sardella

Federico Albano 6d

Federico Albano wrote that at the Singapore GP, a new phase of dominance for Max Verstappen and Red Bull had begun. According to him, the RB22 had become more predictable after stabilizing its aerodynamics, and Verstappen had continued to perform at his best. Albano attributed the competitiveness of the car also to the low-end power of the RB-Ford PU, low drag, and the Dutch driver's tire management. Albano considered Ferrari's weekend positive, stating that they were only second to Verstappen. He wrote that Charles Leclerc had almost overtaken the Dutchman at the start, but the Ferrari had bounced after going off the curb at the pit lane exit, causing him to lose the necessary margin for a more decisive attack. According to Albano, the rear-limited characteristics of the circuit highlighted the weakness of the SF26's rear, explaining both the extreme setup chosen for Leclerc in the Sprint and the difficulties in preserving the tires during the race. He added that the updates expected for Austin would indicate the direction Ferrari was taking. Regarding Lewis Hamilton, Albano wrote that the driver could have achieved third place with a double pit stop, but chose to stay on track, perhaps to attempt to overtake Leclerc. He praised his apologies and described the potential double podium for Ferrari as a missed opportunity, which would have brought points in the Constructors' Championship; he also noted that Hamilton had finished sixth after a weekend where, in his opinion, he had been in great form. Albano also congratulated Kimi Antonelli for the podium and criticized Lando Norris's lack of responsiveness. However, he argued that Mercedes still had a weak front end and that, despite the characteristics of the circuit and the updated PU, they had only achieved the result of the third force. He concluded by indicating Austin as an important appointment for Mercedes and Ferrari, while Verstappen, according to him, would continue to aim for dominance in the final phase of the season. #Formula1 #SingaporeGP #Verstappen (translated)
