Marc Van Ranst. Hij schoot ware gifpijlen af op zowat iedereen die vragen durfde te stellen bij ‘zijn’ maatregelen. Desondanks zou je van een viroloog verwachten dat die er alles aan doet om minstens zijn eigen omgeving net níét toxisch te maken…(pun intended). Maar blijkbaar blijft Marc Van Ranst voor de zoveelste keer verwijten krijgen over zijn ‘toxisch’ leiderschap -voor zover die twee woorden überhaupt met elkaar verenigbaar zijn, maar dat terzijde. Voor velen de man die door hen op handen werd gedragen, voor anderen de arrogantie zelve, lijkt nu stilaan definitief zijn heldenstatus te verliezen. Misschien wel geheel terecht trouwens. Ik was in elk geval nooit fan wat hij wel zal geweten hebben want heeft me -zoals vele anderen- al lang geleden geblokkeerd.
