Je ne suis tout simplement plus capable d’entendre l’argument : « si tu coupes, tu vas toucher aux services ». Cette affirmation repose sur une prémisse totalement fausse, celle que l’argent injecté dans l’État est utilisé de manière optimale. Prenons un exemple tout simple. Pour offrir essentiellement les mêmes services à la population (santé, éducation, etc.), l’Ontario dépense 14 500 $ par habitant, alors qu’au Québec, on en est à 20 500 $. C’est le pire résultat au Canada. Si ça coûte plus cher ici, c’est que l’argent se perd dans un trou noir de bureaucratie. Ne venez pas me dire qu’on ne peut pas faire mieux, c’est impossible. Pourquoi devrait-on être les pires du pays ?
