Først finder man en ekstremt ineffektiv løsning på et problem. Derefter bygger man et dyrt og bøvlet bureaukrati omkring den, og til sidst lader man skatteborgerne betale for hele forestillingen. Kulturpasset er et nærmest perfekt eksempel. For hvert aktiveret pas svarer udgifterne til administration, udvikling og it til 3195 kr. De unge har til sammenligning i gennemsnit brugt cirka 730 kr. på hvert pas. I alt er der afsat 140 millioner skattekroner til ordningen. Og hvad er pengene så brugt til? Jo, altså, to tredjedele af forbruget er gået til biografbilletter. Regeringens reaktion på, at man har lavet en ekstremt dyr og omstændelig måde at finansiere unges biografture på, er ikke desto mindre at overveje at udvide ordningen, før den overhovedet er endeligt evalueret. Og hvem stod så bag kulturpasset? Jo, det gjorde bl.a. de fire partier, der i dag udgør regeringen. Og sørme om de ikke også har fundet en bureaukratisk og kompleks måde at løse et andet problem på! Differentieret moms på fødevarer koster efter regeringens eget skøn 17,4 milliarder kroner om året. Alle økonomer advarer kraftigt mod det, Dansk Industri vurderer, at virksomhederne får byrder i milliardklassen, og sørme om det ikke også kræver ansættelse af 400 nye bureaukrater. Men helt ærligt. Drop nu det cirkus: Der findes en enklere model, som vi har advokeret både før, under og efter valget: Gør de første 5000 kroner, danskerne tjener hver måned, skattefri.
