1 augusti 2026: Dagen då Sveriges 30-åriga experiment med "synd om förövaren" officiellt gick i konkurs. Från och med idag skärps straffen kraftigt för grova brottslingar, och dubblas helt för gängkriminella. Ett skjutvapenbrott går från 4 till 8 års fängelse, och upprepade grova våldtäkter kan äntligen ge livstid. Ändå står "kriminologer" och "experter" i media och gråter ut om att reformerna är ett "hastverk" och att hårdare straff är "ineffektivt". Samma människor som i 30 år har förstört det här landet med saft och bullar låtsas nu vara förvånade över att folket kräver riktig rättvisa. De bryr sig mer om förövarnas framtid än om offrens trygghet. I slutändan handlar det egentligen inte om paragrafer, utan om mamman som inte vågar släppa ut sina barn på lekplatsen efter sju på kvällen. När en kriminell sitter bakom lås och bom kan han varken skjuta, spränga eller råna någon på gatan. Det är ren matematik: Inlåst förövare = noll nya offer. Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, das letzte Wochenende und die vergangenen Tage haben uns alle tief bewegt. Der Anschlag im Großen Tiergarten hat viele Menschen erschüttert. Ebenso danke ich den vielen Kolleginnen und Kollegen, deren Arbeit im Hintergrund stattfand, aber ebenfalls für den Einsatzerfolg unverzichtbar war – in den Einsatzabschnitten, den Unterabschnitten, der Kriminaltechnik, den Befehlsstellen, den Führungsstäben sowie in vielen weiteren unterstützenden Bereichen. Mit Ihrem Engagement, Ihrer Erfahrung und Ihrer Professionalität haben sie entscheidend zur schnellen Ergreifung des Täters beigetragen. Ich weiß, dass viele von Ihnen in diesen Tagen weit über das normale Maß hinaus gearbeitet haben. Dafür danke ich Ihnen von Herzen. Solche Ereignisse hinterlassen Spuren – nicht nur bei den Betroffenen, sondern auch bei denjenigen, die helfen, ermitteln und Entscheidungen treffen. Bitte achten Sie auf sich selbst und aufeinander.
