Tænk, at man som politiker vil acceptere, at uskyldig borgere skal betale flere penge i skat, end de har tjent. Tag fx historien om den selvstændige Jacob Thorngaard. Han havde tjent 5,5 mio. kr. på to år som selvstændig - men alligevel fik han en skatteregning på 6 mio. og 600.000 kr. i renter. Skat tog altså HELE hans indkomst og opkrævede yderligere 1,1 mio. kr. oveni. Derudover var Jacob nødt til at bruge omkring 380.000 kr. på advokater, revisorer og klagegebyrer over galskaben. Og myndighederne? De har simpelthen en ventetid på 51 måneder, før de gider behandle hans sag. I mellemtiden må Jacob så affinde sig med, at hans liv bliver sat på pause. Han har været nødt til at betale af på gælden ved at hæve hans pensionsopsparing, optage et millionlån i banken og droppe at gå på sin planlagte pension. Jeg kan simpelthen ikke forstå, at der kan sidde medarbejdere i Skattestyrelsen, der i de her skønsbaserede sager er så fuldstændig ligeglade med borgerne.
