Stefan Willems (Stock Exchange/Expat) wrote that Belgium once led the way with the flying sphere of Professor Gobelijn, although that came from a fictional Jommeke comic book. He said he was jealous of the entrepreneurship in the US and the continuous flow of new ideas, no matter how bizarre. Willems asked when Belgium last came up with bold inventions or ideas on a large scale and said that last year's capital gains tax on investments did not count. According to him, the country was comparable to a broadcaster that had been airing reruns of De Kampioenen for 35 years when it came to taking risks. #ondernemerschap #innovatie #België (translated)
