Ale proto, že u kolonky s rokem narození to zaměstnavateli zhasne. Přesně těmhle lidem teď vláda Andreje Babiše chystá utáhnout kohoutek. Ministerstvo práce chce od ledna 2027 osekat podporu v nezaměstnanosti. Strop má spadnout z osmdesáti procent průměrné mzdy na šedesát — to je v dnešních číslech propad z 38 537 na necelých 29 tisíc, tedy skoro o deset tisíc měsíčně dolů. Sníží se i to, co člověk dostane během rekvalifikace, a mizí i věková výjimka, na kterou byli lidé po padesátce zvyklí. Novela zatím není schválená, musí projít Sněmovnou. Ale záměr je jasný a ministr Aleš Juchelka (ANO) ho neskrývá: má to ušetřit zhruba 4,5 až 5 miliard ročně. A tady je ta věc, kterou musíte vědět. Týž ministr Juchelka ještě letos v únoru vyšší podporu chválil. Vysvětloval, jak je prospěšná — že dává lidem prostor najít práci, která jim sedí, a zapojit se do rekvalifikace. Po pár měsících ji ruší. Nejde o spor dvou politiků, jde o jednoho člověka, který během půl roku řekl obojí. Nejdřív se navýšení schválí — a vylepší se rozpočet. Pak se zruší — a zase se vylepší rozpočet. Jeden komentátor to nazval zázračnou ekonomickou metodou. Trefnější slovo mě nenapadá. Vláda to obhajuje tím, že chce zvednout „motivaci k dřívějšímu návratu na trh práce”. Jenže u padesátníka problém není motivace. Ten by bral hned zítra, jenže ho nikdo nevezme. Nižší podporou nezařídíte, aby ho zaměstnavatel chtěl — zařídíte jen, že vezme cokoli, hned, pod tlakem. Koordinátorka projektu pro lidi nad 50, Kateřina Musilová, to říká přesně: budou hledat rychle, aby měli na živobytí, a bude jim jedno, jakou práci vezmou. A ti, co už motivaci ztratili, nenajdou nic. A do třetice ta nejtrpčí ironie. Ministerstvo tvrdí, že ohroženým padesátníkům chce pomáhat rekvalifikacemi. Jenže rekvalifikací letos dramaticky ubylo — loni v červenci jich bylo skoro 4 800, letos jen 911. A podporu během rekvalifikace vláda zároveň seká z osmdesáti na šedesát procent. Tedy: nabízí jako záchranné lano nástroj, který sama pod rukama rozebrala a ještě zlevnila. Nejsem ekonom a nechci předstírat, že vím, kde má stát ušetřit. Ale jedno vidím jasně. Když chcete šetřit, dá se hledat na sto místech. Tahle vláda si vybrala kapsu člověka, který přišel o práci po padesátce a shání ji marně.
