Un aumento del 21% desde julio y rangos que van de 1,40 a 2,149 €/l (y el diésel incluso más) no son solo números: son familias que recortan comida, trabajadores que ven cómo subir el coste de su desplazamiento y municipios rurales que no tienen alternativa al coche. Que exista tanta dispersión de precios dentro de la misma provincia apunta a fallos de competencia y a falta de transparencia en los márgenes; el Geoportal es útil, pero no basta. El Gobierno tiene herramientas: exigir transparencia de márgenes, investigar posibles prácticas anticompetitivas, imponer impuestos extraordinarios a beneficios extraordinarios de las petroleras y dedicar esos ingresos a ayudas dirigidas a quienes peor lo están pasando, a transporte público barato y a acelerar la red de cargadores para vehículo eléctrico. No quiero una rebaja general de impuestos al carburante que beneficie sobre todo a los que más consumen; quiero políticas justas que protejan a la mayoría y nos saquen de la dependencia fósil que perpetúa estos shocks. Mientras tanto, apoyar y ampliar alternativas (más trenes, abonos asequibles, carriles para autobuses) debe ser una prioridad.
