Weil gerade von Seiten der Politik und mancher Medien tödliche Badeunfälle dem Klimawandel zugeschrieben werden, habe ich mir die Angaben zu den Todesopfern angesehen. In Bayern werden ja glücklicherweise die Nationalitäten von Personen angegeben, die in Polizeiberichten auftauchen. Spoiler: Es liegt eher nicht an angeblich höheren Temperaturen, mit denen unsere Körper, wenn sie ins Wasser hüpfen, nicht umgehen können und deshalb ihren Dienst versagen. Es liegt mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit an mangelnden Schwimmfähigkeiten von Personen, die gar nicht oder noch nicht so lange hier leben. Bei deutschen Opfern dürfte eher das hohe Alter ursächlich gewesen sein und nicht der Klimawandel. Hier die Angaben zu den Opfern von Badunfällen in Bayern im laufenden Jahr: Bei deutschen Staatsangehörigen gab es bis dato insgesamt fünf Opfer zu beklagen. Das jüngste Opfer war 73 Jahre alt, die anderen Vier waren zwischen 82 und 85 Jahre alt. Alle nun folgenden Opfer von Badeunfällen in bayerischen Gewässern waren unter 30 Jahre alt und gliedern sich nach der Herkunft wie folgt auf: - Deutsche und türkische Staatsangehörigkeit – 1 Person -Polen – 1 Person Ukraine – 1 Person Uganda – 1 Person Frankreich – 1 Person Georgien – 1 Person Syrien – 1 Person Indien – 1 Person Benin – 1 Person Ich gehe davon aus, dass die Zusammensetzung der Opfer in den anderen Bundesländern nicht stark abweichen wird. #Klimawandel #Badeunfälle #Schwimmfähigkeiten
