DOSTAŁEM GROŹBY POZWU XD Jakieś 2 lata temu informowałem, o moich wątpliwościach wokół brokera giełdowego Freedom24. To firma z Kazachstanu działająca w Polsce na bazie licencji cypryjskiej. Long story short: Mój wpis i film o firmie zostały wrzucone jakiś czas po tym jak Hindenburg Research (taki podmiot tropiący nieprawidłowości w firmach i grający na ich spadki na giełdzie) wypuścił raport o tytule, który translator tłumaczy na polski jako: "Freedom Holding Corp: bezczelne unikanie sankcji, znamiona sfałszowanych przychodów i ryzykowne zakłady z wykorzystaniem funduszy klientów" (link zostawię w komentarzu). Generalnie widziałem tam sporo rzeczy, które mnie niepokoiły. Sam nie mam zaufania do cypryjskiego nadzoru i jako że mam zasięgi, to chciałem zwrócić https://t.co/CPyzvGbVTD. uwagę na to, że wybierając firmę, do której wpłacamy ciężko zarobione pieniądze warto w pierwszej kolejności patrzeć na bezpieczeństwo (wysoki poziom regulacji to Niemcy, Dania, Polska, USA, generalnie zachód Europy). Wiadomość od działu prawnego zdziwiła mnie o tyle, że świadomie korzystałem z zewnętrznych źródeł informacji i referowałem to, co było dostępne w internecie zachowując obiektywizm. (https://t.co/CPyzvGbVTD. informując, że to jest najprawdopodobniej legit broker, ale są moim zdaniem dużo lepsze i bardziej bezpieczne firmy). Tutaj zaczyna się robić ciekawie. Z moich informacji wynika, że wielu innych twórców lub ludzi z rynku wypowiadało się o Freedom w podobnym tonie i również otrzymywało wezwania prawne. To celowa strategia mająca na celu uciszenie debaty publicznej i krytyki. W terminologii prawnej nazywa się to SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation). Celem takich działań niekoniecznie jest wygrana w sądzie, ale zastraszenie mniejszych podmiotów, wyczerpanie ich finansowo i zmuszenie do autocenzury. Myślę, że część mniejszych twórców realnie uległa tej presji i usunęła swoje w pełni uprawnione opinie. Warto jednak, aby dział prawny Freedom Holding odrobił lekcje - 8 lipca 2026 r. weszły w życie polskie przepisy anty-SLAPP, które mają chronić dziennikarzy i twórców przed dokładnie takimi praktykami. Czy jako społeczność inwestycyjna chcemy pozwolić na to, aby zagraniczne podmioty blokowały merytoryczną dyskusję i oceny ryzyka na naszym rynku kapitałowym? Czy mamy bać się wzajemnie ostrzegać i wyrażać wątpliwości co do tego, gdzie lokujemy oszczędności? Nie usunę tych materiałów, bo zbyt mocno szanuję prawo do wyrażania opinii i wolność słowa (od początku istnienia kanału nie usunąłem manualnie żadnego komentarza od człowieka - boty to wiadomo). W opisie oczywiście wrzucam wpis z YT i filmik, który chcą ocenzurować. Sami zweryfikujcie czy to jakaś nagonka. Iedereen kent Watergate, maar weinig mensen herinneren zich Climategate. ➡️ Climategate is nochtans één van de meest besproken wetenschappelijke schandalen van de afgelopen decennia. In november 2009 werden meer dan duizend e-mails en duizenden documenten gelekt van de Climate Research Unit (CRU) van de University of East Anglia, een invloedrijk onderzoekscentrum waarvan verschillende onderzoekers een belangrijke rol speelden in de rapporten van het IPCC. ➡️ Wat daarin te lezen viel, deed de wetenschappelijke wereld op z’n grondvesten daveren. Enkele weken vóór de VN-klimaattop in Kopenhagen (COP15) -het moment dat regeringen ongezien ingrijpende beleidsbeslissingen gingen nemen- kwam een pakket interne e-mails naar buiten dat wereldwijd wenkbrauwen deed fronsen over het gebrek aan transparantie en de wetenschappelijke cultuur binnen een van de meest invloedrijke onderzoeksgroepen. Zo bleek uit de e-mails onder meer dat Phil Jones, destijds de grote baas van de CRU, schreef over “het verwijderen van e-mails in de context van Freedom of Information-verzoeken”. ➡️”Verwijderen van emails…” Dat leidde tot zware kritiek op de manier waarop met verzoeken om openbaarheid van informatie werd omgegaan. Uit de e-mails bleek ook dat verschillende betrokken onderzoekers zich jarenlang verzetten tegen het vrijgeven van specifieke datasets en onderliggende informatie. ➡️”Weigeren om datasets vrij te geven…” Er bleek ook dat er uitvoerig werd besproken hoe de invloed van bepaalde kritische wetenschappelijke publicaties en tijdschriften kon worden beperkt. Zo werd er gesproken over het boycotten van bepaalde tijdschriften en over strategieën om te vermijden dat bepaalde artikels nog zouden doorwegen in wetenschappelijke evaluaties. ➡️”Boycotten van bepaalde publicaties…” On ook de houding tegenover wetenschappers die een afwijkende visie hadden kwam naar boven in dit schandaal, in tal van e-mails werden collega’s niet inhoudelijk bekritiseerd, maar persoonlijk aangevallen of gemarginaliseerd. ➡️”‘Dissidente’ wetenschappers marginaliseren…” Meerdere officiële onderzoeken wezen nadien op ernstige tekortkomingen inzake transparantie, openheid en de omgang met informatieverzoeken. ➡️“Ernstige tekortkomingen inzake transparantie…” En juist omdat het om invloedrijke IPCC klimaatonderzoekers ging, had dat een grote impact op het vertrouwen. ➡️ Zelfs het blad Nature -niet bepaald bekend om klimaatsceptisch te zijn- stelde dat de affaire aantoonde dat de cultuur van geheimhouding en defensiviteit moest veranderen om het vertrouwen van het publiek te herstellen. ❇️ De echte les van Climategate is voor mij dat wetenschappers ook zeer kleine mensen kunnen zijn, met hun eigen overtuigingen, voorkeuren, ego's en soms grote blinde vlekken. ✅ Maar vooral dat wetenschappers de hoogste normen van transparantie, openheid en kritisch debat moeten naleven. Zeker wanneer hun onderzoek de basis vormt voor beleidsbeslissingen die een gigantische maatschappelijke en economische impact hebben. #Climategate #transparantie #wetenschap
