Czech research led by Daniel Elleder and Jiří Nehyba revealed that bird genes, previously considered missing, were actually hidden in difficult-to-read chromosome dots, leading to a new understanding of the evolutionary stability of genomes and a process called sequential stammering, which indicates high variability and instability in certain parts of DNA.
