Armin Laschet 2d

The author wrote that anyone who describes the commemoration of the Holocaust at the memorial of the former Buchenwald concentration camp as "support for the genocide in Palestine" is forgetful of history. Furthermore, he accused the "Left" of inciting hatred against the democratic culture of remembrance. #Gedenkstätte #Erinnerungskultur #Geschichte #DE #PS (translated)

Igor Levit 3d

Igor Levit wrote that a contribution from a working group of the Neukölln Left, featuring the party logo, advertised Kufiyas in Buchenwald and claimed that the memorial site provides ideological support for an ongoing genocide. He reminded that Jews had been murdered in Buchenwald and criticized that the commemoration of them was being portrayed as a weapon. Levit asked how the Greens and SPD could govern with the party in Berlin while reconciling this with their conscience. #Buchenwald #Gedenken #Genozid (translated)

U.M. OSINT 5d

U.M. OSINT wrote to Raph Schmeller, the claim of a genocide in an ordinary and very small war without a court ruling is already quite anti-Semitic. Schmeller and people like him distort definitions to continue using the term. #Antisemitismus #Genozid #Wahrheit (translated)

Bafta Rhymes expressed his solidarity with the left wing and wrote that he finds it remarkable that the accusation of antisemitism is not considered wrong because of its legitimization of occupation, genocide against Palestinians, repression, and police violence, but because it trivializes antisemitism. #Solidarität #Antisemitismus #Gerechtigkeit (translated)

This must be the genocide. Official figures from Gaza: In 2025, there were a total of 24,650 deaths in Gaza. Of these, 18,870 (76.6%) were violent, with 17,286 (70.1%) attributed to "military actions" and 1,584 (6.4%) classified as accidents. #Gaza #Genozid #Todesfälle #PS #IL (translated)

The truly dumbest "argument." On one hand, you can look at Japanese and German cities in 1945 and, if you are not a right-wing extremist revisionist, you will hardly come to the conclusion that genocide was committed against Germany and Japan. On the other hand, the destruction is so extensive, while at the same time the population in the Gaza Strip has grown and the number of deaths, including those who died of natural causes (and terrorists), is about 4% of the population. One can hardly inflict such destruction while killing twenty times fewer people proportionally if one does not take human lives into account. This does not exclude the possibility that this destruction can be considered a war crime, so-called domicide. It also does not rule out other war crimes (which are practically guaranteed due to the duration of the fighting, the hatred over the cause of the war's outbreak, and the number of combatants). But if you declare destruction as genocide, then the word is worth nothing anymore.
