Velký fotbalový příběh píše v posledních týdnech na Slovensku 24letý útočník Manasse Kianga. Před rokem přišel na Slovensko z Anglie, kde v sezoně 2024/25 hrál za tým z 9. ligy. Zamířil do Lokomotivy Košice, za kterou na podzim nastupoval ve 3. lize. V únoru 2026 po něm sáhl Slovan Bratislava jako po posile pro B tým. Na jaře za rezervu odehrál devět zápasů ve 2. lize a vstřelil tři góly. S béčkem absolvoval i letní přípravu a ještě 20. července za něj nastoupil v generálce. O den později se ale zranil Andraž Šporar, opora A týmu, a Kianga byl povolán do áčka. S prvním týmem trénoval pouhé dva dny a už 26. července nastoupil v základu proti Banské Bystrici. Při ligovém debutu zaznamenal gól a asistenci, ve druhém utkání o týden později přidal další asistenci. A včera se ve svém třetím utkání za áčko dočkal premiéry v evropských pohárech. V úvodním duelu 3. předkola Ligy mistrů proti švédskému šampionovi Mjällby nastoupil do hry v 79. minutě a gólem ve čtvrté minutě nastavení rozhodl o výhře Slovanu 2:1. Bude zajímavé sledovat, jak se bude dál vyvíjet příběh hráče, jehož tržní hodnota podle Transfermarktu činí pouhých 10 tisíc eur.
