Radko Sáblík thanked the voters for their votes in the Senate elections and stated that he respected their decision to prefer his opponent. He congratulated Václav Láska on his victory and wished him success in the Senate; he also appreciated the decency of his campaign. He thanked the student team that prepared and organized his campaign, as well as its contributors, especially the ODS. At the same time, he apologized for not being able to convert the funds raised into a Senate mandate. Sáblík stated that the unsuccessful candidacy marked the end of an important chapter in his life. For the next two years, he wants to focus on handing over the Smíchov High School to his successor and concentrate entirely on the school, rather than continue striving for changes in Czech education.
