In den besetzten Gebieten von Donezk, Luhansk, Saporischschja und Cherson lebten 2024 bereits 200.000 russische Staatsbürger sowie 100.000 Arbeitsmigranten aus Zentralasien und dem Kaukasus – allein seit Anfang 2026 kamen rund 10.000 weitere Arbeitsmigranten in die besetzte Region Donezk. Angelockt werden Umsiedler mit doppeltem Gehalt, Mietzuschüssen von bis zu 7.210 Rubel täglich und Tagegeldern von bis zu 8.480 Rubel – macht bei "Beamten" über 470.000 Rubel (rund 5.000 Dollar) im Monat, das Achtfache des russischen Durchschnittsgehalts. 2025 verteilte Russland zusätzlich 4.000 Grundstücke auf der Krim an eigene Soldaten – enteignetes ukrainisches Land. Parallel bricht die ukrainische Bevölkerung in den besetzten Gebieten ein: 2025 lag das natürliche Bevölkerungswachstum im besetzten Teil der Region Donezk bei minus 9,9 Promille, 2,4-mal schlechter als der russische Durchschnitt. Der Donbass schrumpfte seit 2001 von 7,37 Millionen auf 3,75 Millionen Einwohner (Anfang 2024) – fast eine Halbierung. 🇺🇦 In der Nacht zu Dienstag trafen ukrainische Spezialkräfte das Balaklawa-Kraftwerk bei Sewastopol – fast die Hälfte der Stromerzeugung der besetzten Krim hängt an dieser Anlage. Der Schlag traf die Turbinenhalle, beschädigt wurde laut ersten Angaben das Kühlsystem einer Siemens-Turbine. Falls auch Pumpen zerstört sind: 2 bis 5 Monate Reparatur. In Sewastopol gilt seither Stromrationierung – 2 Stunden Strom, 6 Stunden dunkel. Für deutsche Leser besonders pikant: Das Kraftwerk läuft auf Siemens-Turbinen, die 2017 unter Bruch der EU-Sanktionen auf die Krim geschmuggelt wurden. Siemens klagte vergeblich auf Rückgabe. Russland baute sie trotzdem ein. Die Operation führten Deep-Strike-Einheiten gemeinsam mit dem Untergrund-Widerstand auf der Krim durch. Die Begründung: Die Krim ist Russlands Militärdrehscheibe – Schwarzmeerflotte, Radare, Flugabwehr, alles hängt am Strom. Erst die Tanker im Asowschen Meer, jetzt die Kraftwerke: Die Ukraine schaltet die Krim systematisch von der Versorgung ab.
