Doch statt die eigene Politik einer Analyse zu unterziehen, hat Außenminister Wadephul schnell den Schuldigen gefunden: Russland war's. Fakt ist, Deutschland hat sich von den Werten, die von der UN repräsentiert werden, himmelweit entfernt. Deutschland untertstützt Krieg und Genozid, lehnt Diplomatie ab, präferiert dafür militärische Konfliktlösungen. Damit hat sich Deutschland isoliert. Dem Wertegeschwurbel von Wadephul unterliegt zudem die Annahme, Menschenleben seien von unterschiedlicher Wertigkeit. Mit diesem Rassismus wird Deutschland international keine Anerkennung finden. Deutschland vertritt heute wieder eine Position, die in die Katastrophe des 20. Jahrhunderts und nach der Niederlage Deutschlands zur Gründung der UN geführt hat.
