Pope Leo XIV described, regarding today's Gospel (Mt 22:15-21), the one who gave to Caesar what belonged to Caesar and to God what was God's as a sincere person, unafraid and without hypocrisy, and free to do good. He also asked the Lord to help people live this way and the Virgin Mary to intercede for them. #Evangelio #Fe #Espiritualidad (translated)

Gustavo Petro congratulated Pope Leo XIV on his recovery and said that humanity was headed towards a spiritual battle for freedom, truth, and light. He wrote that millions of people would participate unarmed in a struggle against those who possess explosive weapons and means that, in his opinion, dull people's minds; he asserted that the life on the planet would depend on it. He also recalled St. Francis of Assisi, to whom he attributed the teaching of putting the last first, and proposed that principle as a social, ethical, and political foundation to unite people. #paz #espiritualidad #humanidad (translated)

Santi C. wrote that, in the Book of Judges, Gideon asked God how to choose his men for battle. According to his account, God instructed him to take his men to the river and observe how they drank: those who knelt and drank like dogs would not be the chosen ones. Gideon saw that a few drank without kneeling, with the spear in hand and their eyes on the horizon, and he understood that those were the men he needed. #Fe #Espiritualidad #Liderazgo (translated)

Pope Leo XIV maintained that intelligence should remember lived experiences and not limit itself to processing data, as these allowed for a connection with human goodness. He also stated that all good things began with the "sign of the Holy Spirit" and left a sense of communion in the heart. https://t.co/bevqNYsciE #Inteligencia #Espiritualidad #Humanidad (translated)

Pope Leo XIV stated that the Church's main mission was to help people reflect on deep questions, such as the origin and destiny of life and the meaning of love and pain. He warned that the pursuit of profit at any cost and the manipulation of information could pressure people to adopt a lifestyle focused on the consumption of material goods, although, according to him, the human heart was oriented towards higher ideals. #AudiênciaGeral #Igreja #Espiritualidade #Reflexão (translated)

Friends: On this occasion, I present to you my new book: People. The previous one, Greatness, is about the joy of living in a country with deep cultural roots, values, and spirituality. For this last one, I initially thought of naming it Glory to tell the also fruitful political history of Mexico. However, I decided, with the same purpose, to call it People, although the mere word may cause discomfort to some who forget that in a true democracy, the sovereign, the one who rules, forgive me for repeating it, is the people. With these two books, I conclude the foundation of what we call Mexican Humanism, a conception and alternative model applied by the Fourth Transformation movement, whose essence can be defined in one phrase: for the good of all, first the poor. https://t.co/O7kpIHMTcP #LiteraturaMexicana #Humanismo #CuartaTransformación (translated)

A fé é a raiz. A vida é o fruto. Quando eu estiver fraco, sustenta-me. Quando eu me perder, guia-me novamente.
