Czech patrons stated that one of the reasons Donald Trump loudly commented on the riots in France was, according to them, to divert attention from the extensive protests against him and his domestic and foreign policies across the United States. They also claimed that Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg assisted Trump with their tools of power and that the reach of social networks influenced what the media reported. They labeled the problems in Europe as cyclical and solvable, stating that it might be possible to manage them again if the powers do not pour "petrol by the tankers" into them. They added that Europe did not need Trump's advice, but rather his departure from office, which they believed would actually help. #NoKingsDay #Trump #protesty #Evropa (translated)

Now we have a line to work further with. In the next step, we will investigate how the railway can be designed in detail, how much land is needed and how we can limit the impact on people and the environment, says Annika Larsson, project manager for the Norrbotniabanan. We assess that the proposed line overall provides the best balance between different interests. It follows the E4 for large parts of the route, which makes it possible to combine road and railway in the same corridor instead of creating another barrier. The cost is also lower than for the other alternatives we have investigated, says Annika Larsson, project manager for the Norrbotniabanan. We assess that the proposed line offers good opportunities to connect a future station to existing housing, pedestrian and bicycle paths, and the road network, says Annika. We see that the proposed line may impact about 30 residential properties that are located close to or within the area of the line. We understand that this raises questions for those who live there. It is only when the land claims have been investigated in more detail that it will be possible to give clearer information about which properties are affected and whether acquisition may become relevant, explains Annika Larsson, project manager for the Norrbotniabanan. The goal is that we will be able to present a proposal for the railway plan in the autumn of 2027, says Annika Larsson, project manager for the Norrbotniabanan. #Norrbotniabanan #järnväg #Piteå (translated)

Jakub Mościcki expressed hope that the European Union would urgently set up a commission to regulate jet engines, compressed air nozzles, and other inventions, which he described as capitalist excesses. He wrote that such devices could disrupt the reproductive cycle of the European ant and cause excessive stress among illegal immigrants from Chad hiding in Belarusian forests. Instead, the commission should, according to him, develop a seventh bicycle gear compliant with GDPR, to enable Europeans to ride faster. Mościcki also compared American flying cars with EU regulations, which he wrote everyone envies. #UniaEuropejska #regulacje #innowacje (translated)

The author wrote that after the midterm elections, Trumpism could become a "zombie formation," and the United States could head towards a government of Democrats decidedly opposed to Trump after 2028. He also hinted at a possible development of events in key EU democracies, with a few years' delay compared to the American cycle, but the post cut off before completing this thought. #trumpizm #demokracja #polityka #US #EU (translated)
