Η Φ/Γ ΚΙΜΩΝ βρίσκεται στο στάδιο της εκπαίδευσης του πληρώματός της και της ένταξής της στο Στόλο. Θυμίζουμε ότι είναι η πρώτη φρεγάτα FDI που τίθεται σε υπηρεσία, καθώς η ένταξη της πρώτης γαλλικής FDI, Amiral Ronarc'h, έχει αναβληθεί για το 2027. Επομένως οι απαιτήσεις είναι μεγάλες και το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα του πλοίου (πρέπει να) είναι εντατικό, για να επιτευχθεί το συντομότερο η πλήρης επιχειρησιακή του ετοιμότητα. Και το μήνυμα που εκπέμπεται έτσι, σε μια περίοδο έντασης με την Τουρκία, είναι το αντίθετο της "ισχύος και αποφασιστικότητας": είναι ότι η Ελλάδα δεν παίρνει στα σοβαρά την επιχειρησιακή αξιοποίηση του νεώτερου πλοίου του Στόλου, αλλά τη διακόπτει για κρουαζιέρες.
