Masian wrote that he reviewed the first half of the match and believed that Barça had not been dominated as clearly as some comments suggested. According to him, PSG started strong, with five minutes of intense pressure and a triple save from Joan Garcia, but Barça also had several chances, notably a strike from Olmo that went just wide and a breakthrough from Pedri stopped at the last moment. He indicated that, until a mistake from Lamine in the 37th minute, both teams had faced each other in terms of ball use and pressing exits. However, he acknowledged that PSG had the better opportunities. Masian also mentioned a missed one-on-one by Fermin, a poorly weighted pass to Raphinha, and a strong Parisian period from the 43rd minute until halftime. He attributed the impression of Parisian dominance to the repeated interventions of Joan Garcia and the moments when PSG hurt Barça. Finally, he stated that both teams had shown an almost identical xG number, despite PSG's superiority, and emphasized that Pedri had to face the Parisian midfield alone composed of Vitinha, Neves, and Ruiz. #FCBarcelona #PSG #FootballAnalysis (translated)

Masian wrote that Flick had explained that the bad weather had blocked his team in Seville and made him miss training sessions. He added that the exhausting trip to Seville, followed by another away match against what he presented as the best team in the world, weighed on the management of the match in view of the clasico. Masian said he shared this analysis and found it incomprehensible that Gordon had run so little, as it seemed contrary to his nature. #Football #Préparation #Clásico (translated)

Barça News reported that Anthony Gordon admitted he hadn’t delivered a good performance and that, like his whole team, he would have liked to do better. He believed the match had positive elements while emphasizing that there was still work to be done. Gordon added that their opponents had been the team to beat over the past two years and that his team needed to learn lessons from the encounter to become a reference themselves. He finally pointed out that the match took place in October, during the league phase, and that another opportunity to beat them could arise. #Football #Performance #Équipe (translated)

He added that the Parisians had experienced better periods of play, displayed more quality, and maintained their pressure and intensity longer than his team. The author said that Barcelona's defeat reignited criticism from fans, who were calling for Flick's departure and questioning Gordon and Lamine. He asked for calm, stating that the match had little importance for the Champions collective and that the team had lost to the side which, in his assessment, was above the others at that moment. He also wrote that Flick had clearly prioritized the game on Sunday, which could put Barcelona nine points ahead of Madrid, and ended by expressing support for the club. #Barcelona #ChampionsLeague #Futebol (translated)

Ronci narrated that, in the 92nd minute and with PSG and Barça tied 1-1, Gordon lost the ball and Verratti passed it to Ferran Torres. According to his account, Ferran dribbled past Pedri, continued alone after Dembélé's run, and scored after shooting. https://t.co/gZYggYNRi4 #PSG #Barça #Fútbol (translated)

Masian indicated that he would start Adeyemi instead of Gordon, believing that the German could better challenge Hakimi and take advantage of spaces in an open match. He specified that he would prefer Gordon against Real, expecting to see them play in a more defensive manner. In midfield, he would choose Olmo over Fermin, as he believed that ball losses could weigh on the outcome of the match. According to him, Olmo was more comfortable receiving the ball with his back to the game, while Fermin favored verticality more. Masian also considered starting Rapha but felt that he could be more impactful from the 55th or 60th minute, when PSG would be more tired. He wouldn’t give him more than 60 minutes, regardless of the outcome, in order to keep Madrid in sight. Finally, he said he wanted to bring Baldé on in the second half, believing that he needed game time. #Football #Tactique #Match (translated)

In "On Foot Around the World," he wrote that after the previous day's march, his quadriceps were sore, which he attributed to having eaten only nuts all day. The day before, because he slept close to the road and did not want to be visible, he skipped dinner and ate only the cold contents of a can — chakalaka. He reported that over those two days he walked a total of 116 km: 54 km and 62 km. He calculated about 39 km a day from this, dividing the result by three, and wrote that he had to rest that day. He also described a long conversation with a pastor who — as he recounted — boasted about building 17 churches in South Africa and other Southern African countries. According to the author, the pastor was white, came from Johannesburg, and moved with his wife after selling their house and farm. The pastor cited high crime rates and the deaths of many farmers as reasons for the move. The conversation lasted about an hour and a half; the pastor presented him with the history of South Africa, including the last 25 years when — as he put it — black people began to take power. The author added that he later learned that the pastor belonged to the Jehovah's Witnesses. The man had offered him accommodation at his brother's place in Gordon’s Bay if he was in the Cape Town area. "On Foot Around the World" described this town as a southwestern suburb and noted that it was on the way from Cape Agulhas. #marsz #odpoczynek #historia (translated)
