Ferat Koçak, who is financed with around 17,500 euros in tax money monthly, has entangled himself in a web of excuses and direct connections to organized crime. That a highly paid representative accepts a donation in the form of a smartphone from the son of the well-known clan leader Issa Remmo - allegedly for Antifa youths whose phones were seized by the police - haha, right, borders on parody. His claim that he initially did not know who he was chatting with despite his position as a domestic politician either reveals a shocking incompetence or bold protective claims. It becomes even more scandalous when looking at the process: Even when Koçak stated that he realized in the Remmo family's office who was in front of him, he did not break off contact. No. He still took the phone and contacted Firas Remmo again of his own accord two weeks later. To complete the audacity, he asked the clan's son to spread a speech in the Bundestag in which Koçak trivializes the term "clan criminality" as a mere political battle term. Anyone who so openly seeks closeness to criminal structures and simultaneously lives off taxpayers has squandered all political credibility! The late remorse and the framework of excuses about an allegedly "overwhelming situation" seem all the more ridiculous against this backdrop. A member of the Bundestag who sends heart greetings to the clan milieu via voice message ("I kiss your heart, brother") and prefers to do politics "for the street" rather than for parliament is simply unacceptable for a constitutional body! If a parliamentarian so openly colludes with representatives of organized crime, they should no longer be paid from tax funds and should be immediately relieved of all political positions! The union has recognized a central point: its policies are not perceived as fair by many. Johannes Winkel expresses seemingly banalities here, which, however, have become less and less guiding for decisions in the past. There is no need for a programmatic overhaul, but rather a focus on common sense and obviousness. - Open borders and an open welfare state do not work - Hard work and effort must pay off - Transfer payments must never provide more than in the low-income bracket - Restriction to those truly in need; no scattergun approach - Fight against abuse: welfare/subsidy fraud or tax evasion (translated)

After the Federal Prosecutor's Office announced yesterday that a Kuwait-born suspected IS fighter was arrested in Hesse and a Syrian suspected war criminal was arrested in Rhineland-Palatinate, I made a press inquiry. I wanted to know when the suspects entered Germany, whether they applied for asylum, and what residence status they had at and after entry as well as what they currently have. I also wanted to know whether the suspects had previously been known to the police for similar crimes or violent offenses or had a criminal record. Shortly after that, I received a call from a spokesperson for the Federal Prosecutor, who informed me that they did not want to provide any further information due to the protection of the suspects' personal rights. I took note of this and wrote a rebuttal, citing the necessary weighing between the public's interest in information and the specific, worthy interests of the affected suspects. I pointed out that my questions 1-3 exclusively concern the stay of the suspects in Germany, withdrew the fourth question (because one can argue here with the presumption of innocence and personal rights), and requested answers to questions 1-3. Lastly, I asked to at least name the year of entry and answer the question about the asylum application if more detailed responses are not possible. In case no response is given, I requested confirmation of the refusal to provide information as well as a concrete justification. I received the response earlier via email, see screenshot. They concluded, after weighing "all possible aspects," that the personal rights of a suspected IS fighter and a suspected war criminal, who is accused of executing three people with a close-range headshot, weigh more heavily than the legitimate public interest in knowing how long the suspects have been in Germany and whether they entered the country as asylum seekers. Well then. This does not correspond to my understanding of transparency. In this context, I would like to point out that you can also support my work. Any support helps to make research, court visits, on-site appointments, technical costs, and the further expansion of my portal Current Information possible. Unfortunately, at the moment, the costs are higher than the revenue. I would therefore be very pleased and grateful for any support. You can do that here: https://t.co/0RvVD8whhG (translated)

The truly dumbest "argument." On one hand, you can look at Japanese and German cities in 1945 and, if you are not a right-wing extremist revisionist, you will hardly come to the conclusion that genocide was committed against Germany and Japan. On the other hand, the destruction is so extensive, while at the same time the population in the Gaza Strip has grown and the number of deaths, including those who died of natural causes (and terrorists), is about 4% of the population. One can hardly inflict such destruction while killing twenty times fewer people proportionally if one does not take human lives into account. This does not exclude the possibility that this destruction can be considered a war crime, so-called domicide. It also does not rule out other war crimes (which are practically guaranteed due to the duration of the fighting, the hatred over the cause of the war's outbreak, and the number of combatants). But if you declare destruction as genocide, then the word is worth nothing anymore. (translated)

The Federal Public Prosecutor today had two people arrested. The Kuwaiti-born Nuri A. was arrested in the Landkreis Waldeck-Frankenberg in Hesse. He is said to have been a member of ISIS since 2016 and was also active as a fighter until spring 2017. The Syrian Ibrahim A. was arrested in Neuwied in Rhineland-Palatinate. He is accused of having joined a militia as a commander in Syria in 2012. In 2015, he is said to have taken three alleged regime supporters prisoner. The prisoners were forced to confess to attacks on Ibrahim A. and other members of the militia. Ibrahim A. is then said to have shot the three prisoners in the head at close range. I inquired with the Federal Prosecutor's Office since when the two terrorists have been in Germany, whether they applied for asylum upon or after entry, what residence status they possess, and whether they are known to the police or have a criminal record in Germany. I will report back once I receive a response. (translated)

Indeed remarkable how this entire matter and the work of this investigative committee plays no role in the "traditional" media of Thuringia (but also beyond). One must let this sink in: It is demonstrated that a VS chief, who does not possess the qualifications essential for the position, bent the law and ignored the clear recommendations of his experts to continue his fight against the AfD. However, apart from @apollo_news_de, no one reports on this! Instead, there are reports everywhere about a completely pointless hearing on the AfD ban, where a comedian and two full-time activists are the key witnesses for the proponents of the ban.
