Antes dela eu já havia falado na TV Fórum que estava estranhando o movimento de bispos e padres nas redes defendendo a democracia e a soberania e que deixavam claro em postagens nas redes que parte da Igreja estava se posicionando contra a candidatura de Flávio Bolsonaro. Um vídeo de bispos da região amazônica foi o que me chamou a atenção para isso. Mas depois dele surgiram vários outros. O Pastor Zé Barbosa explicou esse movimento. Havia uma reação a declaração de Flávio de que seu primeiro ato seria entregar o país ao senhor Jesus. Lideranças da Igreja entenderam aquela declaração como anti-católica por conta da valorização que a Igreja dá a Maria e a Nossa Senhora Aparecida, nesse último caso, especialmente no Brasil. O fato de a Igreja Católica ter santos é algo tradicionalmente combatido pela ampla maioria das denominações evangélicas e a Maria Cristina não inventou o projeto de um ex-deputado bolsonarista que está disputando as eleições. Ele existe. Está arquivado e pode ser desarquivado a qualquer momento. Fontes da Igreja podem tê-la alertado para isso. O que me espanta nisso tudo é que apesar do massacre que a colega de profissão está submetida tenham sido poucos os jornalistas que saíram em sua defesa. Ou preferiram o silêncio ou estão dizendo que ela produziu uma fake news. Em casos muito menos graves de ataques muitos deles e delas foram pras redes e usaram seus espaços para defende a liberdade de imprensa e de expressão. Agora se juntam à turba que provavelmente vai lhes cercear a voz se o seu candidato for eleito. O mesmo silêncio se dá com as entidades profissionais de jornalistas. Estão quietas. É absolutamente repugnante o que estão fazendo com uma excelente profissional. Nada mais covarde e vergonhoso. Como também se calaram diante da decisão do ministro terrivelmente evangélico de censurar as redes de centenas de pessoas. Numa decisão que ele demorou 40 minutos para tomar. Espero que esse silêncio e esse massacre a Maria Cristina não custe a democracia no Brasil.
