Questa notte i droni ucraini hanno colpito le raffinerie di Afipsky, in Kuban, e di Novoshakhtinsk, nell’oblast’ di Rostov. L’Afipsky NPZ è situato a circa 20–30 km a sud-ovest di Krasnodar, in posizione favorevole rispetto a Novorossijsk e agli sbocchi del Mar Nero. La capacità storica di distillazione primaria è di circa 6,25 milioni di tonnellate annue; il salto qualitativo è arrivato con il complesso di idrocracking del gasolio da vuoto, entrato in funzione nel marzo 2025. La capacità complessiva dichiarata è così salita a 9,1 Mt/anno. L’obiettivo industriale della modernizzazione era ridurre il peso dei prodotti pesanti e massimizzare diesel e distillati leggeri conformi agli standard K5/Euro-5: profondità di raffinazione obiettivo fino al 93% e resa di prodotti leggeri fino all’82%. La vicinanza a Novorossijsk aggiunge rilevanza nell’ecosistema meridionale di esportazione e distribuzione del greggio e dei prodotti raffinati. Il Novoshakhtinskij zavod nefteproduktov (NZNP), operativo dal 2009, è ubicato nell’oblast’ di Rostov, a breve distanza dal confine ucraino. È l’unica raffineria della regione e produce diesel, olio combustibile, combustibili per riscaldamento e uso navale, benzina a distillazione diretta e, con l’ammodernamento, benzine Euro-5. La sua funzione va oltre il solo mercato locale. È parte della rete meridionale di carburanti e, secondo fonti ucraine, rifornisce le forze armate russe; la combinazione di prossimità geografica al teatro di guerra, produzione di diesel e capacità di spedizione ferroviaria/fluviale la rende particolarmente utile per il sostegno alle operazioni russe nel settore meridionale. Già ieri le Forze Armate dell'Ucraina avevano colpito con successo la Refinaria di Gas di Astrakhan (AGPZ). In particolare, sono state colpite le unità di separazione del gas 1.U-272 e 2.U-272, con conseguente arresto di circa il 25% delle capacità produttive dell'impresa. Questo attacco assume una rilevanza critica per la Federazione Russa a causa della riduzione della produzione di zolfo. Attualmente, la Russia sta già importando zolfo per i propri bisogni, anche se pochi anni fa era uno dei principali esportatori. E lo zolfo è un elemento chiave per la produzione della polvere nera, mentre senza acido solforico è impossibile la sintesi di esplosivi (trilito, esogeno, ottogeno). Per riferimento: La materia prima del giacimento di gas e condensato di Astrakhan è estremamente difficile da lavorare: contiene una quota anormalmente elevata di acido solfidrico (circa 26%) e anidride carbonica (circa 16%). Prima che il gas possa essere pulito chimicamente, la miscela deve essere separata in fasi. Nella Refinaria di Gas di Astrakhan (AGPZ), sono proprio le unità di separazione del gas a svolgere questo ruolo. #Ucraina #Droni #Energia
